That depends on the amp you're running, the speakers you installed, the quality of the installation, etc.

Turn up the volume until it sounds like crap then dial it back slightly.

It will depend on your interface adapter. Since it will be taking the signal from the ACM, you would need to install that and then check the distortion on the outputs of the interface. If someone has the same interface then their answer *SHOULD* be usable.

On my Non-B&O with the PAC LPA-E.4 distortion at 40hz is visible on a o-scope at 22, but I can't hear it until 24 or 25.

B&O w mid grade Euro drivers and 1000W sub amp / sub....get zero detectible distorting on 320 lbs stream or flac /wav.... can't max out too loud.

Calling our FLAC or lossless is a good point. On my non-B&O i used a lossless -3db 40hz Test track and saw that distortion at 22, but it makes me wonder about the B&O. Since it's a digital system, it's basically distortion free until it is processed or amplified, so i would imagine with a quality DAC interface, amps and conservative gain setting, I you could see basically 0 distortion to max. I'm mainly curious from anyone that has put an o-scope on their B&O what the output looks like. Maybe this is the real benefit to the B&O!?

This is what I’m wondering. I wanted to know if anyone has scoped the headunit to understand if and where it clips. I know where it clips on the input of the DSP but I can increase the gain on the input DSP to get more headroom if I understand where it clips or at all.
