Has anyone managed to find out what was changed with the amp? For instance, does the B&O amp still just power the front corners, kick panels and sub, while the head unit power the center channel and rear speakers? Is the amp power up?
No real personal experience unfortunately. Hard to find someone who will let you tear apart a brand new vehicle. That’s a better question for @RagnarKon probably.
I was chatting with the local car audio nerd at the dealership about it, and he poked around while installing a tow package on a 2025. Like @MKZoom said, it's all-new and powers all of the speakers. Seems to be a new A2B chip in the DSP as well, so it's not compatible with existing A2B solutions from mObridge, PAC Audio, etc.
I'd love to see the actual spec sheet (probably will never happen). But either way, it's absolutely superior to the old setup.
