50 shades of grey seems to be the them of the Bronco color palette
Is that because it's a sexy vehicle that likes it a little rough?

Colors with saturation less than that of neon markers don't make them grays. Area 51 is blue. So is Azure.

I certainly would love Ford to offer some some brighter colors along with these shades, but that doesn't make everything else "gray."

So 2 A51s, one with metallic, one without. The one with looks EXACTLY like my 2000 Expedition, pretty boring color pallet there Ford. 4 grays and 2 Area 50somethings, black and white

WOW Ford is so Innovative and ground breaking.

They take such big risks coming out with yet one more Gray/Blue color.

So, are these the only rock rails available now, with the steps optional, or are these the rails you get with hoop steps and the originals still without. sjp indicates these are the rails/steps she got on her 2022 OBX.

And any idea if these hoops would fit an original rail?

QUOTE sjp
That looks exactly like the hoop steps and non-load-bearing rails that I have on my '22 Outer Banks. It was added as an option earlier this year instead of the standard tube step.

For those looking for an example on a Bronco. Was driving in some thick traffic so the pictures aren’t the greatest.

Updated with photo of Area 51 vs Azure Gray on official Bronco water bottle paint samples:

How did you know this is Azure Gray and not A51 ? This looks like A51 to me. The bottle of Azure Gray looks darker, grayer.

These are vendor direct ship and expensive. Looking at the the contour in the pics the two rail styles look different. The step alone for the 2D shows a retail of a little over $610.00 per side. The 4D complete rails retail around $1,600.00 per side but does show brackets, (most) hardware, rail and steps are included but I've gotten burned by the catalogue on bronco parts so I don't trust.

I do like these steps but think they are overpriced and would hate to cut them up in order to make it work on an older style rail. Depending how catty I feel, I may have parts order me a set for my demo to see if they work. No idea if they're available at this time or on indefinite back order. DOW isn't showing anything beside vendor direct ship.

Friend of mine works at Ford and confirmed this was Azure both from his knowledge and the vehicle tag info backing it up

Yea, it's basically the same paint they offered on F150's in 2005-2010

yep, looks just like the early 2000s Expeditions too. I had one for 10 years+ great truck! But boy am I tired of that color.

A51 was my original color pick but that was before I saw it in person. Horrible. It was too dull or flat. And unless you keep it clean, dirt/dust make it look even worse. If you want a matte finish then wrap your truck or Line-X it or something. I hope to see Azure in person to see if it was the A51 that I had hoped for...not that I want to pay an extra $1000 but when do I ever get what I want when it comes to the Bronco. My current choice is Cactus Gray. And yes, you might find it boring AF but some of us do not have the personality that would lead us to drive a car that looks like a sour patch kid. Further, those rails/steps are horrible. I guess it will allow me to give an old person a ride in my truck.
it's okay to be wrong.
