Aux 5 won't turn off

I came out to the bronco this morning to my lights that are connected to Auxillary 5 being somewhat on (they are baja designs pocket fog lights). They were not at full brightness but were clearly on, even though the aux 5 switch was in off position. When you turn aux 5 switch on, the lights go to full brightness, and then dim with the switch off. On the switch panel the led light is off until the switch is turned on. I haven't used that switch in a month or so and lights were not on yesterday and the car was just parked overnight.

I also have lights on 3 &4 and no issues there. I have an air compressor on 6 and it is functioning properly.

I presume the Aux 5 switch went bad, which dealer should fix under warranty. Any other thoughts or possibilities?

The only other thing might be, did you run straight to the lights, or did you use a relay? If a relay it might be bad. If straight from the switch wire, then the relay for that switch went bad.

How long have the lights been installed?

Lights have been installed for probably 6 months. I wired them straight to the auxiliary wire in the engine compartment (no modification or relay added).

I should also note there is no change to the lights with the bronco on or off. Only change is when the car is on and the switch is put to the on position and then the lights go to full brightness.

I wonder if the built in relay (inside the fuse junction box) is being wonky?

Probably.... First thing I would do is pull that fuse and see if they stay on.... Would tell me if they are receiving power from another circuit. If I pulled the fuse and they went off then I would swap in another relay and put the fuse back in... would tell you right away if it is the relay. very quick easy check.
