My audio volume always goes to 7 when I start the engine. Doesn't matter what it is when I shut down. Only happens when I wait about 5 minutes. If I shut down, wait a few seconds and the start the engine, the volume is where I left it. Same with auto start.

It's a brand new '25 Badlands non SAS, mid package (no B&O).

Anyone else encounter this?

Haven’t noticed this. If you normally leave it higher than that, maybe it’s a default maximum to protect the speakers or somebody’s eardrums. Other vehicles have this. Try looking in the audio settings for the option.

I normally leave it a 0 or 1. And my '25 Base doesn't do this, same audio system. Maybe time to have the dealer check it out?

Same here on my 25. Was like that since Day One. I just assumed it was a “feature”. Annoying when the music comes on that loud by default.
