We are well into the conversion cycle (5 weeks), and most people that reserved early have probably converted with their dealer, settled on price, and are now waiting 'til May to see the estimate from Ford on their estimated build date, delivery window, MY, etc.

Seems some people (buyers and dealers) are confused about purposefully placing an order for a MY22, with all those glorious new options, colors, tops, etc. But with all things, time and/or money will solve those problems.

So are you happy? I am. Like a dog being picked up at the kennel by his owner after about a week there!

Yes, but only because I have a lot of other things going on right now. I would be happier if Ford had focused on producing the REAL Bronco instead of the Sport so we'd all be driving around in our rigs by now.

I'll be happy if the conversion rate is low and I actually get a MY21 with Sas/Lux next Fall with my July 17th res. I tend to doubt that will happen (conversion rate will be close to Ford's projection IMO)...so would still be okay with a month 1 MY22. So I guess generally happy but could go South if they start building a bunch of stock units in 22 before mine gets delivered.

I can't imagine how shitty it would be to see stock units before a July 17th res.....barring some obscure late availability item, etc.

Definitely! If Ford conspires with the Big Dealers and tries to get out of building reservations in MY22 first based on a technicality, there are going to be a lot of pissed off people.

What Ford is contemplating, however, is if that will actually impact MY22 sales or not. If a bean counter tells Farley that it's not going to make a significant impact on sales and they won't see bad press from it--automotive "journalists" usually get paid for their reviews and not actual journalism--I think Ford will screw us over.

Marines....we're not happy unless we're bitchin...
You're not a real Marine unless you kill something every day. That's what I tell my Marine buddy at least after killing a cockroach or whathaveyou. As my post military life has shown, most all employees complain to some degree.

Sport vs. Bronco are completely different teams working simultaneously. And unfortunately cars are not one of things if you throw more man-power at it does it make it better / faster.

The customer expectations and demand are so much higher for the Bronco due to its history and its competition Ford can't afford to launch a dud, they need to make sure everything is correct from day 1.

Not happy how long it’s taking. They shouldn’t of had a debut without being ready to launch. I can’t wait for a bronco but their business sense was all jacked up.

Overall, yeah! I'm stoked!
Would I like to have seen some things done better?
Well, yeah.
Would I liked to have been able to get the slide out gate and BYOD now, and have no issues with adding a rack to my build from the get-go?
Well, yeah.
Would I have liked to have seen a good green offering?
Well, yeah.
Am I still happy with my build and the fact we are a few months away from driving it?
Yeah!
Is it the perfect one I'd build in a perfect situation?
No, but it is good enough and will be awesome to have.
So sitting here now on the outside looking in and not expecting (hoping against anyway) a bunch of recalls and issues, very happy.
The powertrain is established.
The test mules have been put through some stuff I wouldn't be doing.
They opted for Bilsteins instead of KYB due to it not performing like they wanted, so ergo I believe a lot of thought and effort went into the design phases and we ended up with a kickass machine overall.
Could some of the details have been better implemented and thought out?
Well yeah, but I think a vast majority of us are going to be willing to overlook some pet peeves once we get it and start driving it.

/long rant over.

Overall I'm happy, though I would like more creature comforts for the price.

The waiting can be agonizing at times
