ARB Dual onboard compressor damaged direct from Ford..

Just a little warning if you buy anything of value direct from Ford. Bought the dual onboard ARB compressor kit directly from Ford using their 20% off coupon. Just picked it up from the dealer and both connectors are smashed.

Called Ford and the lady literally told me, non refundable, nothing we can do, sorry. Luckily ARB is stepping up and sending me replacement parts. They could have easily pointed at Ford for damage in shipping. ARB is awesome, Ford.....be careful buying expensive gear.

Well Bloody O, that's all kind of messed up.
I do not know who Ford uses for shipping, but I my pull-out tailgate did not show up in the nicest way..I am just happy it was damaged.

It came in multiple boxes. Didn't open it until I got home. And believe it.... Her response was "it says right on the website that it's non refundable".

When they say "for any reason" they mean it. Lol. Anyway. Kudos to ARB.

I don't think it was done in shipping, but instead packing. I called ARB first and they said to send pictures. I called Ford right after just to mark it damaged in case ARB didn't work out. She just came out with it and said... Non refundable.. can't do anything. Then she asks if I want the case number. I laughed and said what good would a case number do me. You left me out to dry.

I do think this is on ARB but it was just surprising how Ford responded.

Non-refundable and non-returnable are not the same thing, Customer Service person.

I can replace those, so send it to me if ARB gives you a new one

ARB did confirm by email they are sending me new connectors. So looks like I'll have a working unit...

It is one of the risks to order online vs ordering at the dealer. Dealer can't execute a return for online sales. They are just a drop ship courtesy.

That is expected. The coupon codes are not eligible between dealer/customer orders. It is one of the risks of ordering online. Save money, but you are rolling the dice whether the transaction is satisfactory.

When there are issues and an item is eligible for return, it can take weeks even months to get the credit taken care of. And then the discount code is no longer valid so you have to order again immediately using the discount code and be charged twice. Or you return, wait for a credit, then reorder at the higher price.
