not flipping the Bronco. By the time I get mine they will be as cheap as old Ford Explorers.

That said, if you have a car to sell now is the time. Carvana offered me 6K sight unseen for a low mile 2006 Accord. I assumed they were smoking some crazy internet drug. A week later I told the story to a visiting coworker from LA and he actually looked at it then offered 7500.

I hate that we are even considering it, but I got curious and did an online request for value and they came back with 67k on our Bronco V6 Big Bend. This is coming from a 45.5k MSRP.

Has anyone traded theirs in and put down another reservation?

Edit:
We have had this car for a week and we did not order just to resell. My wife had the Bronco Sport while waiting for a full sized Bronco.
Hopefully you’re not one of the whine bags that accosted the forums with how evil Ford is for making you wait, and that the wait was causing you unusual pain and suffering… only to sell it to make a quick buck.

I have thought about it but only because in my desire to get a bronco quick I bought a 4 door 2.3 MT BD with softop and did not think I would like the 4 door, but did, and sold it because I have a torn left meniscus in my knee and driving stick again started getting to me. I would not have liked it long term even thought I thought it was an awesome MT. Flipped the 4 door and made like 12k, and a week later got the build notice on my two door which I was told would be a MY22. I was going to change the order to 4 door when I re-ordered it, but alas misinformation from Ford as usual.

The saga continues. The 2 door has an auto V6 and I love this engine but I think in an Auto the 2.3 would be fine for us. The reality is I miss the convenience of the 4 door, the soft top is quieter, the 2.3 gets better gas mileage, has more range because of the bigger tank, and dealing with the hard top and roof rack is a PITA. I was offered 75k for my 2 door, kind of hard to walk away from that on a 50k cost. But I'm still waffling. I love both of them, just not sure I like the idea of riding around in the summer with my pants down because I don't have a top. I really can't stand the fact the 2 door softop sits on top of the car when folded. They are both awesome vehicles. I change my mind every week.
Send me your buyer’s info, I’d consider selling my 2 door Badlands for $75K.

I had no plans to sell, but I also had no hopes of getting a 2021 after the “congratulations you’ve been kicked to 2022“ email in August 2021. Having seen some of the base 2 doors come in and reassessing my actual needs, I was planning on ordering a base or possibly basesquatch manual for 2022. Since I was told wasn’t getting a 2021 I didn’t bother changing my original order. 9/30 I got an email for the Badlands that I’d already dismissed from my mind. The Badlands High is super nice, but I have a work truck and my wife has a 2021 Tacoma, so the Bronco will see just a few thousand miles per year. As a toy living in a place with minimal offroad opportunities within 3-4 hours the $50K Badlands is hard to justify compared to a $32K base with $3K in mods (wheels, tires, etc.). If I made some cash on the Badlands I could get a base for less than the cash I put down on the Badlands, but without the additional loan to pay off.

I doubt anyone ordered their Bronco thinking about how much money they are gonna make flipping it.
Maybe a couple of those who ordered two first editions…

I would disagree. I would say 10-15% ordered them just to flip them.

Exactly. No reasonable amount of money would be helpful. Only thing I would seriously consider would be a trade for a perfect 1G restomod. And someone would be nuts to trade one of those for a 6G.
I would want enough to get a 2022 F150 Raptor with some options.

What website gave you such a high figure? Theoretically I'd have to be offered at least a similar amount to remotely consider,, but I can understand the temptation. Especially with inflation what it's been.

This is such a simple question to answer. Are you excited about the car or greedy and wanting to make some quick cash. Each person has to decide whats the most important. Some people spend their entire lives chasing that dollar and making that “big profit”. Some (like me) wouldn’t sell if you tossed 100k cash on the table. I learned a long time ago that money is way less important.

I'm excited about my Bronco, I've owned at least 10 66-78 Bronco's the only one I regret selling is a 74 Ranger. I like this Bronco more than the Ranger and won't sell something I enjoy for a quick buck. Waited too long for this to become reality and Ford did a great job in design.

I fully intend to drive mine until the wheels fall off. However, if it turns out I hate it after a year or so or I have a some catastrophic life event and need to sell it is comforting to know I could recoup most of my money and possibly more.

So I ordered a soft top BD, zero options, as a holdover until my 2 door BD reservation got built and turns out they both got scheduled for 2/7. I'm honestly thinking about keeping both at this point although I seriously don't need 2 new vehicles.

Some might say I'm a scummy scumbag if I end up flipping the second order but otherwise I wouldn't consider it. I've wanted a Bronco too bad for too long. How bad are people going to freak out when these things start showing up in junk yards?
