My first build date was expected late summer/early fall of '22. When Ford kissed the asses of the mega dealer my expected build date was pushed to maybe the '24 model year. When I heard this my mind went into Afib, and all kind of stupid ideas flooded into my big ol' dumb head. Buy this, trade that, order this, keep that, on and on it went. Then last week in the early morning hours when I rise, and during the dark quiet time that I enjoy with a fresh cup of Joe, the light came on. I don't have to do a damn thing 'cause I've got my '19 Wrangler, and '20 Ranger to do the things I need, and want. Now I tell you that's a load off my mind. I'm going to ride it out until I get a build date, and when it arrives I'll decide if I want the damn thing, or not. My advice is, if possible, try as you might to quit worrying about that stupid Bronco. You'll feel much better. I know I do.

Note: I do understand that many were planning on replacing a worn out vehicle with their new Bronco. For you I hope your plans come to a happy ending. If it doesn't I hope you can come up with a good alternative plan. I wish you all much luck.

First hour reservation.
Switched from Mod Top to Soft, haven't looked back, been enjoying it since September.

I'll be considering my options before I have to put the Convertible away this fall. Until thin I'll see what happens.

I'm interested in the assumptions and logic behind those that are jumping from the Bronco to.....the Ranger? Why would you stay with Ford? Why do you think they will be better at building Rangers than they are Broncos?

Personally, I may get a '23 4Runner if I don't have a build by the summer or fall. If that looks like it will be a mess as well, then we will probably get my wife a new car in early '23 and I'll drive her current Mazda until things cool off.

I honestly think Ford WANTS early reservation holders to walk away
I think if that were the case, ford could just take away the price protection. Some would walk, but id probably hang in since it might push up my build.

I do think Ford better get their communications up to snuff before the 4runner comes out.

And as far as ford serving new customers before reservation holders, well, one only needs to look at the fast food industry to see why. New customers are the drive through customers getting served as quickly as possible, while walk in(reservation) customers will wait forever.
Why it's it this way?
Because drive through people can drive away, and walk in aren't going anywhere...
Go into any fast food joint to see example in action. It's policy.

I notice it, i always go in because

Great choice, if I could have afforded a Grenadier, I would have certainly ordered one.
