I ordered new 315mhz TPMS's for the new wheels and tires on my '24 Braptor from Tire Rack. Has anyone had issues with them (or other non-Ford sensors)?

I've generally used Ford sensors and they have always self-learned quickly w/o intervention and worked perfectly..

thanks

Used them for my Focus years ago… I honestly have no idea if the sensors I bought 4 years ago is same sensors they sell today or not… so keep that in mind.

But they worked fine, just the battery didn’t last long on them. First one failed year 3, so I tore it apart and swapped the battery on it. Boom! Started working again. I had two more fail during year 4 (this year). I didn’t see if they also had battery issues—swapping the battery is a fairly destructive operation—but I assume they also had battery problems.

Not terribly upset because the sensors only cost me $18/each if I remember correctly. But yeah… definitely did not get the 8 years I got out of the OEM sensors.

I used Tire Rack sensors 2 years ago, they worked great. They're a different stem than Ford sensors and won't interchange, learned that just now trying to transfer the head onto a Ford stem.

Rockauto has preprogrammed sensors for $19 ea, I would try those next if I needed another set.
