We have a shit ton of spreadsheets from every build week and what have they proven? Nothing. We have tried to identify trends that lump certain builds together, but our theories always seem to fall apart. You seem very positive that you know what matters and doesn’t, but where did you get your information? Your dealer said? Or from this board, which is just speculation?

Even all the recent emails for the Raptor golden ticket holders are saying that those reservations don’t count toward your particular dealer’s allocation.

You don’t know what gets your rig built faster, and neither do I. I offered anecdotal evidence and never claimed to have figured out Ford’s build selection process. Take it for what it’s worth, but don’t act like you’ve cracked the code.
Part of your theory is when you placed your order, it mattered. That's not true. Direct form Mother Ford. You also believe allocations don't matter. Explain that to the 1000+ people still waiting at Granger/SAC/Chapman who have the same build and early res date as many who reserved/ordered after.

Simple walk-ins at the right dealer(with allocation) receiving build dates within weeks. It's all documented here. Just have to open your eyes.

I re-ordered in Oct as well, OBX 4 door soft top, SAS, mod bumper, aux switches. Got a build date in Jan for 3/28 and it’s remained there so far.

Is there any hope that I get my bronco this year? Reservation was July 2020. Order date was January 2021. Big bend, SAS, 2.7l, mid package 2 door. This is so frustrating. Any info would help. I read so much stuff that doesn’t seem to matter. I did re-order in October
Absolutely. You'll get it!

Does that help?

I had a July 20 reservation. Reordered in October. Have a late February/ early March date. 2 door basesquatch 2.7. Perhaps the gray center grab handle is a constraint.?🙄

Almost identical build as mine; only difference is I ordered a BD.

My dealer made sure that I understood that 2.7, SaS and 2 door are all major constraints. With aftermarket options available now I decided to drop the tow package a few weeks ago.

I can't do the 4 door, I won't do a soft top, if I am ordering from the factory I want the largest motor available and for the price and warrantee the SaS package is a no brainer.

I am hoping for an early '23 but time will tell.
I agree with everything you said except dropping the tow package. No seven pin connection, butcher headache wiring if adding 4 pin with no guarantee of getting it sooner. The supporting threads are endless.

I just need the four pin so I thought it was worth a try. If things start looking differently in the next few months I can always add it back on.

Most likely this will be the second year for a road trip out west with my son in the new Bronco that we are going to end up canceling. He will be 17 next week: I was hoping we would have one last memorable father son trip before he starts venturing out on his own. I couldn't think of a better vehicle to do this in.

Right, because mother ford has been so forthcoming and honest so far throughout this process. I also didn’t say that I believe that allocations don’t matter, but I can see how someone with poor reading comprehension would think that I did. All I said is that I’ve been told that special orders don’t count toward a dealer’s allocation, and have even seen where Ford said that in an email that they sent to people who are changing their orders to Raptors.

To me, it seems like some dealers who promised better pricing got flooded with orders, but it bit them in the ass because Ford still has to provide inventory to their other lower volume dealers.

I simply gave an account of my experience and said that none of us really know the formula to getting a bronco faster. You can hypothesize all you like, but much of what has been documented here has also been contradicted by other examples that have been documented here.

For what it’s worth, I do believe you that walking in to the right dealer at the right time can get you a positive result, because Ford can’t let four or five dealers monopolize their inventory no matter how much volume they move.

It's all so random and inconsistent. I'm a first night reservation, 2D badlands with sasq, 2.7l, High Pkg, no tow. Ordered 1/29/21, reordered 11/24/21 and got scheduled 12/9 for 1/31 build which was pushed to 2/7, 2/14, and now 2/28. I'm number 4 at a small dealership, who even had a couple of FE not get built last year.....

Was visiting with a guy last night who is number 2 at his small dealer, 2nd day July 20' reservation for a 2D base, 2.3l with sasq and he still doesn't have a vin. Ordered in Jan 21' and again in 10/21' like nearly everyone else. It's all so random it's nearly impossible to figure out.

Allocations are life. That being said, my cynical self says if I was Ford, and I had the parts to build an early reservation for either a two door BB $40K, or a two door BL $50K , I’d build the BL. But that’s me. Hang in there, they are coming.

Congrats on getting your rig but.....

1- Order Date never mattered as long as you met deadlines.
2- Reservation date used to matter.
3- Allocations have mattered and are now all that matters.

Cheers!
Allocations are not the determining factor either. I reserved in the first 10 minutes of day 1, and when I went to my medium sized dealership in Jan 2021 to order I was told my timestamp was the earliest of their over 400 orders (at the time) and I was #1 of their 56 dealership allocations.
All that got me was pushed to an MY22 and an Oct 21 reorder. After the reorder I changed from a 2dr BL to a 2dr WT and asked to have my order code 99’d while I wait on a Braptor. A week or two after asking for the code 99, I got scheduled because the GSM screwed up.
So, I’m still waiting at Ice Mountain, and to be honest I met all the criteria of a trailer 1 delivery, and the only thing that has held me up (I believe) is my loaded 2dr builds with all the constrained options…..well that and priority orders, FE’s, MIC top recalls, and chips, etc., etc., etc.
