Part of your theory is when you placed your order, it mattered. That's not true. Direct form Mother Ford. You also believe allocations don't matter. Explain that to the 1000+ people still waiting at Granger/SAC/Chapman who have the same build and early res date as many who reserved/ordered after. We have a shit ton of spreadsheets from every build week and what have they proven? Nothing. We have tried to identify trends that lump certain builds together, but our theories always seem to fall apart. You seem very positive that you know what matters and doesn’t, but where did you get your information? Your dealer said? Or from this board, which is just speculation?
Even all the recent emails for the Raptor golden ticket holders are saying that those reservations don’t count toward your particular dealer’s allocation.
You don’t know what gets your rig built faster, and neither do I. I offered anecdotal evidence and never claimed to have figured out Ford’s build selection process. Take it for what it’s worth, but don’t act like you’ve cracked the code.
Absolutely. You'll get it!Is there any hope that I get my bronco this year? Reservation was July 2020. Order date was January 2021. Big bend, SAS, 2.7l, mid package 2 door. This is so frustrating. Any info would help. I read so much stuff that doesn’t seem to matter. I did re-order in October
I had a July 20 reservation. Reordered in October. Have a late February/ early March date. 2 door basesquatch 2.7. Perhaps the gray center grab handle is a constraint.?Is there any hope that I get my bronco this year? Reservation was July 2020. Order date was January 2021. Big bend, SAS, 2.7l, mid package 2 door. This is so frustrating. Any info would help. I read so much stuff that doesn’t seem to matter. I did re-order in October
I agree with everything you said except dropping the tow package. No seven pin connection, butcher headache wiring if adding 4 pin with no guarantee of getting it sooner. The supporting threads are endless.Almost identical build as mine; only difference is I ordered a BD.
My dealer made sure that I understood that 2.7, SaS and 2 door are all major constraints. With aftermarket options available now I decided to drop the tow package a few weeks ago.
I can't do the 4 door, I won't do a soft top, if I am ordering from the factory I want the largest motor available and for the price and warrantee the SaS package is a no brainer.
I am hoping for an early '23 but time will tell.
I just need the four pin so I thought it was worth a try. If things start looking differently in the next few months I can always add it back on.I agree with everything you said except dropping the tow package. No seven pin connection, butcher headache wiring if adding 4 pin with no guarantee of getting it sooner. The supporting threads are endless.

Huge help. Thank you. LolAbsolutely. You'll get it!
Does that help?
Right, because mother ford has been so forthcoming and honest so far throughout this process. I also didn’t say that I believe that allocations don’t matter, but I can see how someone with poor reading comprehension would think that I did. All I said is that I’ve been told that special orders don’t count toward a dealer’s allocation, and have even seen where Ford said that in an email that they sent to people who are changing their orders to Raptors.Part of your theory is when you placed your order, it mattered. That's not true. Direct form Mother Ford. You also believe allocations don't matter. Simple walk-ins at the right dealer(with allocation) receiving build dates within weeks. It's all documented here. Just have to open your eyes.
Allocations are not the determining factor either. I reserved in the first 10 minutes of day 1, and when I went to my medium sized dealership in Jan 2021 to order I was told my timestamp was the earliest of their over 400 orders (at the time) and I was #1 of their 56 dealership allocations.Congrats on getting your rig but.....
1- Order Date never mattered as long as you met deadlines.
2- Reservation date used to matter.
3- Allocations have mattered and are now all that matters.
Cheers!
