Mine are in my garage here in Montana. Dealer said they were back ordered 2 months ago. Just buy direct from AMP. I was on email list for when they came back in stock and AMP notified me when they did.
I know this is a zombie thread, but for correction, the two door uses the exact same part#, you just have to cut the steps shorter for the mini Bronco.Yes, Team 4dr gets all the new stuff 1st!!! Ugh....

Yes, that's right. Was prepared to do it, not an issue. The AMPS have been backordered for long... I moved on to a better version, cost less, comes with lights (not extra) and does not tie up my port.

Thanks for the update! Glad to hear they have been added. and now there are options in this style of retractable steps.
My Rhino's arrived in january.
Updated? I bought my first set in 2009 and every set since has had lights standard. As for using the port, that was to make it more idiot proof. There are options if you don’t want to do that. Previous versions I hardwired in.

when you remove the doors, (disconnect the plug) the steps retract. you need the override switch to deploy them.
Amp also has an app (at least for Apple) that lets you deploy or retract them without needing the override switch. I use the app when I wash my truck so I can clean the top of the steps.
Ah, didn't know that. Thanks. The dealer put Amp steps on my F150 and those were the only ones they offered.
I installed a set a few months ago. Please allow me to offer the following:
- the retracted AMP Powersteps FULLY cover the pinch weld. In fact the steps dress up the entire rocker panel area in the same manner as some of the graphic appliqués.
- The steps come with puddle lights that automatically activate and extinguish with the operation of the steps. The 4 door comes with 4 lights. IDk @ 2 doors.
- You do NOT have to drill the spot welds to install the lights. In fact, I broke 2 drill bits trying, gave up, and just used the existing factory holes in the pinch weld, combined with an inexpensive package of grommets from ACE hdwe.
- There is an optional switch to park the steps either up or down. I did not use this switch.
- To wash the steps, open the door: the steps extend. Place your foot on the step and shut the door: the steps momentarily attempt to retract, then detect your foot and remain down allowing you to wash the tops. When you are finished washing the tops, open and shut the door: the steps retract.
The Powersteps are beyond Kool! Everyone who sees them operate are just amazed. The ladies in your life will adore them! (so will you).
PS I will add some specific hints to the Powerstep installation thread as soon as i can get to it.
