Mine aren't hidden, but they’re unnoticeable. I painted them with black bedliner coating. There’s nothing to hold water and make them rust that way. If you look, you can see them above the running boards but not enough to worry about.
I have a 2023 Black Diamond. When the grille is being removed there is a plastic filler panel that has to be removed first. It is held in place by 8 plastic push-pin clips (not screvits). The inner part of one of those clips dove into the recesses of the engine bay and I can't find it.

My problem is finding a level spot where the Bronco is level and I have 25 feet to a wall. I’ve come up with an idea parking the Bronco pointing out of my garage and using a laser level onto a piece of plywood 25 feet away. I hope to try it this weekend.
