You need the ProCal online account info that the account was registered under. You plug the adapter into a laptop, run the ProCal software on the laptop, log into the account - if there are updates it downloads them to the adapter.Thank you, good stuff.
If the dealership installed it, is there any way for me to find out of there’s been an update to the ProCal tune, released at a later date?
Seems like there’s a bit of guess work regarding tune updates, if a service appointment uninstalled the tune, if there’s been an OTA/PCM/FDRS update that may have as well, without any real notice of that happening.
Do guys with this tune continually have to check to see if it’s still active?
You never have to check back in for updates if you don't want to (and in some cases it's been detrimental, the loss of Rev Matching in 2024 for instance), although it's possible a potential future PCM update could require a follow-on ProCal tune update.
