I mounted the front plate to the bumperette plastic part.
- It covers the right D-ring
- It is drilled and screwed into plastic
- The bumperette mounts with clips so pulls off for easy access to D-ring. Negative is it is also easy to steal.
- Bumperette easily replaced if you want to change or eliminate front plate. Part is m2db-17e810-ab
- Mount is from Amazon:

Or an alternative that requires no drilling and removes in less than 60 seconds with tools included in the bronco tool kits.

Yes I am aware of your bracket. That will not survive Minnesota snow banks hanging that low.
I saw one person mount it upside down - I still may do that some day. Mounting yours upside down positions it almost exactly the same as factory mounting without drilling the painted valence.
