that’s great. Thanks for the reply.
Here are a couple of “narrow“ 37” tires I’ve found

Several manufacturers offer the 285/85R17 tire size. These include Mickey Thompson, BFGoodrich, Toyo Tires, and Yokohama Tires. Specifically, you can find 285/85R17 tires from Mickey Thompson, BFGoodrich, and Toyo
Honestly I can't find any of those online. Only 285/75's.

Can you post a link if you see them anywhere? Mostly looking for M/T's, but really all I can find in that range are Super Swampers, or Badak.

Definitely not easy to find. Found this. I’d add more if I find them

Oh yeah sorry I should have mentioned I know about the Nitto Recon grappler. I've had Nitto's in the past and don't really care for them. Also looking for more of a mud tire. Thanks though! I'm most likely going to try the Kenda Klever 37-12.50. And just see how wide they are on the steelies.

I have a 2022 OBX non SAS. I upgraded the tires to 270 75 18 Falken Wildpeak tires. They are fantastic tires all season, excellent in snow and wet., however as they wear they have make some noise at highway speeds varies by road surface. Not terrible but more noticeable than stock AT tires. I chose to stay at 18” wheel but purchased new wheels and tires as a combo from Tire Rack. The new wheels ( Raceline) pushed the tires out a bit and gave it a better stance. Max size that will fit is 2857518. Pics attached. Enjoy shopping.

Hey! Yeah no problem. I also didn't like how sunken in they were. I'm running 1" spacers (requires trimming the front studs.)

Most of these pics are on non-sas Badlands struts. I'm running a little more lift now than in these pics.

I'm likely going to 37's in the near future. Unfortunately can't find any narrow ones that will work for me. Not sure what I'm going to do.

Since I won't be the first to come back to an old post...what soft top are you running there? Have you been happy with it?

It's the Bestop Trektop in Twill.
I love it! I did not pay retail, got it for $600 new in box. So that makes me like it even more. But I have had no problems with it.

It was a pain to install, and was missing a piece of trim that I had an appolstery shop fix. It's a Ford Accessories version bought second so I was on my own.

But I hated wrestling with the hard top, and would rather have a roof over my head but the windows out. So this is perfect.

ONLY $600?! YOU MONSTER.

But seriously, thanks. That's what I needed to hear.

My hardtop has its place, but the roof with the rear windows out is the ideal setup to me for probably 300 days a year. If things go right I've got a promotion on the way and that'll be my first upgrade after tires.

Yeah definitely got lucky.
Forgot to mention the Twill has held up really well to abuse. I've definitely scraped past and through a good bit of trees with no problems. And mud and everything cleans off of it really well.

Interesting thread on the Raptor site. I recommend a 37” tire myself. Had Baja Boss on my JL. Otherwise I got nothing.
