This is what the policy was back in January, when the threshold limit was 80%…

I have not seen a more recent update posted, but the policy may have changed. I know several dealers here suggested that the policy would likely be relaxed by Ford because of the production delays and the problems related to the MIC 1.0 hard tops.

Why does everyone assume a single article claiming it is 60% is correct and a change from the heavily documented 80%?
It was changed to 60% long ago.

So dealers themselves ordered Broncos, converted their orders to “ priority”, and when they arrived, moved them over to the used lot of their associated other car manufacturer and sell it as a used vehicle without getting pinched by Ford under the brokering rule. Local dealers in my area have Broncos on their Kia and Toyota lots for sale. One has 25 miles, one has 1100 miles and the other has 52. Drove the family around for a week then post it on the lot for sale. Just skinned the cat in another way.

Not sure how this is a surprise to anyone. Shoddy Dealers fake order, give it priority, shows up and reservation holder doesn't show (since there never was one), instant profit. In the meantime real reservation holders got orders stolen or got pushed back behind the fake orders or got a crazy ADM for their trouble.

The only saving grace that's keeping me from just walking is Granger and the fact Ford has pushed me back to '23 order waiting on a white top. Hopefully by then Ford has fixed this along with all the early adopter issues that have been popping up.

I just found out this week that Bill Brown Ford in Livonia Michigan has stole my Day #1 timestamp for an FE when I switched to a WildTrak. I was debating on whether or not I should blast them because I’m still waiting for resolution but people need to know that this is happening! And I’m furious! 🤬 Now my day one reservation looks like it was made six months later when they created a new order for my WildTrak and thought as a girl that I probably wouldn’t notice. Well I did….
Ford customer service has been notified and so has other very high up brass at Ford. Let’s hope I get some immediate resolution. Stay vigilant folks.. The article is true

@Ford Motor Company
