At least with APG taking over production these tops will FINALLY be made.

I wonder what will happen to the Chinesium tops that were made. Do they wind up on Temu? Alibaba? Amazon?

We can laugh all day but if Mabbett can figure out how to bring these to market for $1500-$2000 and not get sued into infinity when they vaporize in a crash then they’ll outpace any other company out there in sales lol

That’s facts! If I didn’t have a hardtop I would try it at that price point. And wouldn’t mind putting it together either lol

Current new aftermarket CJ/TJ hardtops are in the $2k range. So apparently it's possible to make and sell hardtops at those prices.

For whatever reason Bronco hardtops are significantly higher priced.

Figured it’s probably the same as anything new… companies have to pay for all the R&D initially somehow then the Chinese swoop in and make money off the back Of that hard work. Similar to how I assume portals won’t cost $25k forever.. At some point we aren’t reinventing the wheel and the competitive market takes over and prices drop. Kinda like when RC discovered how to sell a pair of steering rack bushings for $50 instead of 1 for $400..

I don’t think any tops were made, nor do I believe anything will come from ADV or APG as it relates to the hardtop. Both companies are not manufactures, with the exception of fiberglass fenders from ADV.

As I said from the beginning, I suspect this project went off the rails over a year ago and they have zero plans for resolution.

Saw a couple more reviews on google with responses from ADV. Unfortunately their responses don't provide much of an update on the status of these tops.
