Day 10 of the 7-10 day update window. Has anyone received an update yet? Has the needle moved at all on anyone’s progress chart?
i believe they said 7 - 10 business days , which is basically approx. every other Friday.
hope they don't stretch it by excluding Monday holidays. but I hope they keep it at every other Friday. so far they haven't held true to their milestones. But I hope we are close to the end and they do deliver

it would be absolutely amazing if they documented how many tops they delivered each week.
It would be hard to send out a big fat zero every week

your absolutely correct about first removing the plastic covers and then having to reattach the 3 bolts per side.
can someone post a pic of these covers? Will this also be an issue on the anderson

Presumably the red highlights are complete. Yet they released the video and it is still in production? And they are still being produced so they are still in China?
this update idea is all a joke. you will get an email showing you are "in production" for weeks. when completed with production, you then have to wait until they have enough "completed" parts to fill a container and then get it to the port and ship.. more smoke and mirrors.

You guys missed it. They don’t appear to deliver many tops. But keep putting out FB/YT videos. I added that line in there where delivery gets held up.
He's probably making more off youtube than he did by putting our deposits into NVDA

Following this thread as I might need to replace my soft top in 5 years or so…
At ADV's pace, owners will be trading in their used Bronco with their new-ish ADV top.

I had thought about that . There has to be some that have moved on since ordering a top from ADV .

I sent them a email asking if the seals would be available for sale separately so if one gets damaged . Got the same response as all other communication……we are working on that

If you're selling your soft top, this piece must be removed as the new owner will need it to install his or her soft top. Re-install the bolts on your Bronco though after removing the plastic trim piece.

If i am swapping tops 2x a year (using the soft top from May - October) I assume I can leave in place and just put my HT on? or does it need to come off and on with the top swap?

Depends on if there's room - It may stick out ever so slightly from the pillar itself (can't recall - Don't have them anymore as I sold my soft top). It likely depends on the top and how much clearance there is. Each hard top option out there will be built a little differently.

You can try - Worst case scenario you remove and re-install 6 bolts which takes 30 seconds to do. I would imagine it should be fine to remain.

I wouldn’t buy something like this without purchasing a spare. Fiberglass can be fixed. Glass can be cut. Rubber from a mold is another story.

. But I also put in a no-deposit order with BMC Extreme Customers for an Anderson white top with an ETA of September as a backup. Their timetables have been pretty consistent, so at least I'm confident I'll have my top by autumn at worst. And who knows, Armadillo is designing tops just up the road from me and they might have theirs delivering soon, too.
I’m in the same boat as you. My Anderson white hardtop has an ETA of April and I should be among the first to receive a white hardtop from Turn around the same time.
Just a little "devils advocate" from my experience with Anderson so far. TBH they haven't been much better than ADV. I personally like the appearance of their top better, which is why I ordered it.
I have a "Textured White" top on order...since May 2023! When the order was placed the shop and I were told, 12-16 weeks. So that would put is in August/Sept time from. Well August came and went, then September came and we asked for an update. We were told "end of October", October came and we were told "week before Thanksgiving", well Thanksgiving came and still nothing. Then we got an email that the top was ready to ship in the next 10-14 days. Well that 2 weeks came and went and nothing, and we were told "week of Christmas", and again nothing.
Around this time there was the other user on this forum that did get a textured white top and there was paint issues that he's having to deal with locally etc. So again, nothing from Anderson.

First of the year came and went and nothing. Then we were told "there's a QC issue we're attempting to work through now, we'll have something in 2-3 weeks." So end of January and nothing. Then we were told "if the QC issue is resolved we'll have those tops ready, if not we have a new batch coming first of March and they're being done differently and you should have a top from one of those 2 batches".

Well as of Monday 2/26 I still don't have a top, and the only thing I have is "we are expecting some samples in this week and if they pass QC we will be able to start shipping them out next week.". Bear in mind that NONE of this communication was volunteered and every bit of it was me asking for updates from the shop or calling Anderson directly.

Anderson, like ADV, has been absent from the forum. So while I hope that these tops are coming soon, I'd also say don't expect an earlier delivery. My understanding is now they're telling people 6-8 months instead of 3-4.

Sadly...since Ford won't sell the OEM top, Anderson is, IMO, the best option. I don't like the ADV, I'm not really thrilled with the Turn (I know many are) and Armadillo has really dropped the ball IMO. Ford really hoodwinked everyone with the "order a soft top and we'll be able to sell you a hard top later" line.

Hi all, we are sending out an email to our customers shortly. We hear you loud and clear wanting more communication. We will be sending updates every 7-10 business days so that you know exactly what stage your hardtop is in (only to customers via email). We will send out an email even if the status is in the same spot. Make sure to take a look at your email to see the latest news on your hardtop. Any questions at all, do not hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected]. We are working day and night to get caught up on orders and appreciate everyones continued support and patience. Have a fantastic night and weekend!

We are making great progress every single day!

Check out the install video of a production unit: Modular Hardtop Install

this reminds me of those entertainment centers you used to buy at Walmart. The cams you had to quarter turn, the glass you had to align etc. they never really looked quite like the photo on the box...I guess everyone will be able to say their top is unique

That is not great but at least AC has delivered some tops. If everything goes well you should have a top in less than a year which is way better than the ADV pay in full 2/22, estimate deliveries starting 8/22 and boldly lie to customers every month or two since then.
