The way I see it, ADV has to deliver by Jan 15. There hardtop has to be really good for the 2 year wait they made first-orders suffer waiting. If it is just as good as TO or AC's top, then it wasn't worth the wait.

Actually, didn't they say they'd "start shipping" by January 15th?
The only advantage I see right now is the wiper and washer option already being available for ADV.

Has anyone gotten an email from TOR with an expected delivery date?

I got the emails to "buy now" but when I went to that screen, it looks like the top is still out of stock. I'm sure someone on here was first on the list and it's the manual process they described of emailing shipping details/timeline.


It's verrry tempting, but if you're in batch 1/2 for ADV and they follow-up again in the next week/two weeks with good news, it's not worth switching because you'd probably get either top in the same timeframe.

You’re also paying less with TOR, assuming it’s due to not having a rear wiper setup.

I thought this would be a deal breaker for me, but I’ve been running a soft top for two years without one and could care less. The fact that TOR will offer a kit to add one later is also great to hear. Very curious how this kit will be installed though.

Plus almost $2k in your pocket.
The tough part is until someone on here gets either one you can’t really tell the build quality of either for sure. TOR starts shipping or pick-up 1/2 so ADV customers should be able to make a better choice after seeing those on peoples Broncos a few weeks before ADV starts shipping.

Wellll I just got the email from TOR. If I did it, It would be shipping Jan 22. Not too far off from a Feb shipping promise from ADV. Argh...

Quality is most important to me. I’m not saying I’d spend $30k on a hard top or anything, but ultimately I want a good quality top that’s well built.

Both companies seem to have a good quality top, although time will ultimately tell.

Your not the only one counting the days.
Especially with tor being so active and responsive.
Their tops are going out pretty quickly.
Hope adv sends something out, they are loosing a lot of customers. I see a lot of fami l isr names po as ting their delivery dates. Wait time seems minimal.
I just want my 1 piece sitting on my bronco.
