Just checked in today and got a response in like 30 minutes from John (guy in the videos). I asked him a direct question about whether or not there were quality issues, and he said there were not, and that the main issue is labor.

I appreciate the transparency, but it's still quite the risk as a consumer that has paid $8k for a product that has had significant delays. I'm in line for Turn off-road, and if I start hearing another month/two month bump, I'm gonna be done. I can buy new suspension and tires for that much!

labor, wow, that still doesnt explain why not one top has been released. they seem to have people to be turning out other parts which they keep showing on Instagram's.
If it was me, I would have everybody on the bronco tops for 2 weeks to start getting some out and calm people down.
Unless of course ,everybody quit.

I don’t know what everyone is complaining about. Instagram says the top is HERE!

There not here as on my bronco.
Also the super top secret install video hasn't been released so no shipments have taken place.
I did get a chuckle out of your post.
If the pre-orders are over then there should be a price increase
December is almost here, let's hope this is the lucky month0

According to FB ads, it's ready and available as well! Funny how the ads were ready and the tops are not.

Maybe they need more orders for the people canceling.

Just in time for Christmas shopping
Ya, every kid loves waking up Christmas morning to something they really wanted, only to find out Santa skipped their house.

Nov. 1st I ask if my top was shipping. Answer was No, so I canceled my day 1 order. Had the money back Nov 2nd. Meanwhile I ordered a soft top liner from Dirty Dog 4x4 made a big difference. We'll see what next summer brings.

November is half gone and i got the obligatory response from ADV on November 10th:

Unfortunately, final assembly is taking much longer than we ever imagined. Our manufacturing team is dealing with labor shortages that have caused further delays in hardtop final assembly. As of right now, your hard top is expected to be ready late December into January. We do plan on sending out an email to hardtop customers next week letting them know of this unforeseen delay. The team is working as fast as they possibly can to get orders out the door. We will contact you as soon as we have a precise ready date for your hardtop.

If I put myself in your shoes, I would also be very frustrated about the delays. However, we are doing everything we possibly can to ship out your hardtop, despite the labor shortages. We are answering all your questions to the best of our ability and offering a refund if you do not wish to wait any longer. If you wish to wait longer, then we appreciate your patience and will contact you as soon as your top is finished.

I asked if any tops had shipped and got this:
The only tops that have been shipped are 16 BETA user tops, customer units are following.

I asked if I could be a BETA tester to get a top. No answer on that one.

Is is too late to abandon ship after it has gone under? If I could find a factory top for this price ($6K) that is not a scam, I would get my money back and move on. I guess I am 'in for a penny, in for a pound'.

Pretty much the reason I got out when I did. Each month it’s pushed a month, and there’s been a very clear track record of this.

I‘m confident they’ll eventually ship tops, and I’m sure they’ll be great quality too, but under these numerous delays - I’m shopping elsewhere.

im not going to cancel until I am sure that
adv is going to take longer to get than a replacement
off road is actually up and running with shipments and has a firm shipping schedule.
