Feel free, that’s pretty close! We were just in Chicago a couple weekends ago. I’m literally just across the lake.

I got in line with Turn today (for free!), and they're saying white tops should appear a month or two after black ones. If the black tops do debut in December, that puts the white tops on the market by March if they're able to keep schedule. Yes, I know that's a major "if" these days.

I'll literally take the first one that's ready to actually put onto my vehicle, so those appear to be the parameters.

Great hedge 😎 what will you do if your ADV top is ready and your TOR top is about a month away but $2k cheaper?

Definitely occurred to me. If Turn's scheduling reliability was pretty solid at that point, I would probably wait. But after waiting 35 months for the Bronco and then this, the bird in the hand might be worth more.

Well had to throw in the towel today. I asked them for a reason I should hold on and none was provided. They seem to be able to post content of other products regularly so why not a quick video for those who placed orders showing what the manufacturing problem was, and how it has been fixed just to let the order holders see what is going on and why we should hold out? To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

Love the aesthetic and the one piece option but this has dragged on for too long with the exact same response. Clearly something major is wrong and can't be figured out. I'm not sure I could stomach buying it without some real world testing in paying customers hands at this point. A one year warranty on something that is giving them this much of a headache to build is not enough IMO. Speaks volumes when even the few "influencers" who received tops don't post any follow up content (what is with that?).

They have had my money for nearly two years and I'm tired of feeling like a fool. Yes that is how they make their customers feel by feeding us the same BS every 60 days or so. You have to be an idiot to believe it is simply a labor shortage and assembly takes longer than expected when you are going to do half of it anyhow when it arrives. I hope this eventually works out for those willing to hold the course. What a lesson in what not to do in communicating with your customers. For now I'm on the waitlist elsewhere. Hope it works out for you patient order holders and ADV!

Get your money back already? I'll be cancelling ASAP once I get a response from someone selling me their OEM top.

Make sure you ask for interest too! $6k over two years should give you about $600-$1000 in interest!

Not yet. Hopefully this week. Basically they send you an email to the address you placed the order with and once you confirm everything supposedly a check gets mailed. We shall see.

Sure wish it had not reached this point but without a real truthful explanation of why another delay or at least shipping ONE top to someone who PAID there are zero reasons to expect anything other than another delay in January. To be fair w/ADV the person who helped us was nothing but courteous and professional. A little transparency would have kept my order is all I can say ... or maybe the reason is such a concern and the knowledge would make everyone cancel, hence the secrecy . All any of us can do is speculate unfortunately. What I do know is labor and parts are not the reason one top hasn't shipped or been picked up by a customer.
