Anderson's "hollow" hard tops may be on to something. If you remember ADV's video showing a cut through of the hollow Anderson tops. Maybe the hollow-ness is fool proof.

If I remember, the anderson tops looked they had bracing points throughout which would help with strengthening.Anderson's "hollow" hard tops may be on to something. If you remember ADV's video showing a cut through of the hollow Anderson tops. Maybe the hollow-ness is fool proof.
Sounds like a camper or a boat.Agreed. I'm only looking for an OEM hardtop now because I have 10k+ worth of gear thats supposed to be on that roof that's just been sitting in a garage and that's honestly the most frustrating piece. I honestly wouldn't mind the timeframe but overall, I have 16k+ invested in items I'm not even using haha
I wouldn’t call those items an “investment.” They’re probably making you as much money as you are by pre-paying for a hard top.Agreed. How about 'happiness' investments?I wouldn’t call those items an “investment.” They’re probably making you as much money as you are by pre-paying for a hard top.
That’s better. That’s priceless.How about 'happiness' investments?
Well, I have my happiness investments roof rack with extra crossbar, and my rigid backup lights sitting since March 2022 in my porch. So used to all the boxesHow about 'happiness' investments?

I think that may be the Rally-Top they showed. In another thread, a person who has one of those spoke about how it was put together. Also had a diagram of the cross sections that looked like what showed in that video ADV posted.Anderson's "hollow" hard tops may be on to something. The rally top doesn't have rear defroster, or rear wipersI think that may be the Rally-Top they showed. In another thread, a person who has one of those spoke about how it was put together. Also had a diagram of the cross sections that looked like what showed in that video ADV posted.
The person did like their top and said it worked well and was quiet. So perhaps they are on something. Also looking at his top, it did not look bad.
Not sure if any of the tops need it. I mean I have read many who says they barely use the rear wiper. Defrost may be another matter. The Armadillo does not have a wiper but has a defrost. Honestly I do not need the wiper. The rally top doesn't have rear defroster, or rear wipers
My old bronco DEFINITELY needed a wiper, I had the defogger, and put the wind deflector attachment. I couldn't see anything when it got wet and dirty definitely need itNot sure if any of the tops need it. I mean I have read many who says they barely use the rear wiper. Once I find an OEM one to buy, I'm out. I'm really not keen on hearing every excuse in the book while they hand beta versions out to influencers.I called today and spoke with a customer service rep. Confirmed delivery late December....maybe January. She stated that they are now dealing with labor shortages as well as supply issues. I'm not sure what to believe as even one employee putting these together should have a few out by now, not just the ones they shipped in the beta test. I'm holding on for now but we are almost at 100 pages here!!!!
