From another post on a Sema thread, a user said he ordered ADV and was told JAN for delivery.

I have my Slantback on order from Armadillo, and I should receive it in December. I hope I made the cut. Lot of updates coming out of Armadillo. I am looking forward to getting my top.

Depends on when he ordered it. New orders are 12 weeks out lol.

Well, looking at the bright side, we are in November. This is the closest that we have gotten before KJBEGGS willpower breaks down again lol,and he calls up for updates and is told next month again for the umpteenth time.

Well, I would feel better if they released the classified install video. At least that would mean something is coming.
But I'm sure you will hold out as much as is humanly possible.
You have 15 days to go for mid November.
When I had contacted them all they told me was November. Refused to be more specific. I'll just wait to see your post as you haven't failed me yet.

I just asked how it was looking for my order that was placed in August of '22. I was told that it is looking at Late December / Early January. This would make it over a year late from time of order.

I have asked for my refund. Other notes, since it is over 120 they can not do a credit card refund, so they say. They first asked for my bank info so they could process a refund. I got on the phone and they will be mailing a check.

Well, there was probably a huge rush of orders around 8pm on Feb 28,2022, I know I was on their website putting my orders in well before it became known on bronco6g.
I had screwed up and entered everything twice, had to call up and explain it to John who fixed everthing..
God knows how many orders came in from the bronco nation and individuals.
So if they do start in November, and go by order date that could explain why an August rider is going out 8 weeks after the start.
My friends are holding out to see mine and then will order they figure they will be waiting 12 weeks or so , assuming adv gets the backlog out.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but "As of right now, your hard top is expected to be ready late December into January"


Even though my comments are usually humerous and poking fun, this situation has become a joke and so is ADV. What a garbage situation and I'll probably be getting a refund now. I'm sure they don't give two craps because they will always have people wanting to buy this hardtop but this has probably been the worst decision I've ever made purchasing this.

I really wish I could take legal matters but it's my fault putting all that money down in the first place. So glad Mitchell Watts has his hardtop though!

I can confirm that everything has been bumped again. My wife called cuz she keeps it on her calendar when she talked to them last and when they said they would ship. No shipment notice so she called. They asked for name to look up the order and said late December/January. Just for reference, I doubt there is more than one or two orders ahead of mine at most. I ordered day 1 sometime before the orders were technically supposed to start being accepted (the website was accepting orders early and I was in the office checking on it because we were sooo excited). Mine doesn't have the wiper assembly either so I'm as basic as you can get and would happily drop the headliner if needed.

@ADV Fiberglass can you give us any concrete reason not to cancel our orders at this point? Is there any reason for us to believe you will actually ship in December? If you have things figured out and all parts are on hand why has not one shipped yet?

Not even sure why they would say "late December". Nothing in the world happens late December, except maybe major retailers like Amazon, Wal-Mart, Target, etc.
