Ya idk why they think it's such an importance to not show it. Their understanding of optics is just mind boggling because I'm willing to bet that even if it looks terrible, or not where they want it to be, just seeing it will shut most people up. True, theres probably gonna be some negative perspectives, but jesus tap dancing christ....

It's funny, GFC owes me nothing and I bought a couple thing from them last year. I still get weekly emails on what's going on. Like how hard is that?

Yeah, lack of communication and transparency is what's pretty much crossed them off my list entirely at this point. Just tell us what the hold up is. Why this hold-up is preventing ANY tops from shipping is beyond me, but it must mean there is a design or assembly flaw affecting all of them.

I've seen the ADV prototype in person, it looks great. Until these things are "in stock" and shippable I'm not even going to give it another look.

I'm eager to see what Armadillo's square back looks like. Their recent broadcast with BroncBusterTX showing what they learned from the prototype and the design changes they're pumping in ahead of full production are reasonable. I liked that they're very clear the slant banks are going into production first and those of us interested in square backs will wait a while. Again, I'll probably wait until things are moving along smoothly before parting with any of my money.

I'm slightly annoyed that two years later Bestop hasn't produced a square back soft top superior to the OEM one either. I actually don't entirely mind having a soft top.

I asked on Monday, the status of the install video and headliner.
I was told the videos would be released prior to shipments starting.
They also said, STAY TUNED, I hope thats more positive than SOON.
I honestly can't understand the secrecy.

Problem is, it's getting colder, and the days are getting shorter,my assistants are in school.in the event it ships end of month ,I should be so lucky, that's then in my driveway in december.i probably have to coordinate my help for weekends.
Unless it's over the Christmas break.

Well, looking at the bright side, we are in November. This is the closest that we have gotten before KJBEGGS willpower breaks down again lol,and he calls up for updates and is told next month again for the umpteenth time.
We are both in the same time frame, so as he goes so do i

From another post on a Sema thread, a user said he ordered ADV and was told JAN for delivery.

I have my Slantback on order from Armadillo, and I should receive it in December. I hope I made the cut. Lot of updates coming out of Armadillo. I am looking forward to getting my top.

Depends on when he ordered it. New orders are 12 weeks out lol.

Well, I would feel better if they released the classified install video. At least that would mean something is coming.
But I'm sure you will hold out as much as is humanly possible.
You have 15 days to go for mid November.
When I had contacted them all they told me was November. Refused to be more specific. I'll just wait to see your post as you haven't failed me yet.

I just asked how it was looking for my order that was placed in August of '22. I was told that it is looking at Late December / Early January. This would make it over a year late from time of order.

I have asked for my refund. Other notes, since it is over 120 they can not do a credit card refund, so they say. They first asked for my bank info so they could process a refund. I got on the phone and they will be mailing a check.
