@ADV Fiberglass can you publicly respond to the post that mentions issues with the injection process and with paint?
And is late October the earliest expected ship time?
Can we expect content on the headliner or the install video anytime soon?
Our previous post mentioned the final assembly concerns/issues (foam injection and paint) which has been addressed. Install video will come before the tops are shipped. Yes, October is looking promising for majority of orders.

Well, they answered, just vaguely, and again completely ignored the headliner question

Dang. Told my friend that's holding onto a bunch of my pieces in San Diego such as an RTT and roof rack to save shipping costs, it'd be September (at the time, I was told July so I gave myself a few month cushion) and he just told him he wants my stuff out of his garage....Any chance you guys can store it at your shop? If not, gonna have to spend an extra $500+ for a flight, $ money for a uhaul, and a hotel....

Only video I would watch besides the install at this point is a video showing a bad top and what the issues are, then show a new ready to install top, how the issues were fixed, and the difference. Maybe show some inventory (panels/windows/sound deadening/gaskets/anything) to ease those of us getting nervous. I has to be a parts problem if the problem is figured out and not one can be shipped. Man would I be jealous if one shipped and it was weeks till the next but it would sure help with the wait. Truly bizarre.

Posting more video's each week of a top that's not available is likely going to piss off more people (myself included). Why market your product while you're trying to catch up with supply chain/production issues?

*cough* Ford *cough

I agree with @pakrat - That video showing the items he listed would be good in building trust with current and future customers, IMO.

Probably more of a labor issue in having to redo the hardtops. Takes time.
I'm happy it isn't a fitment issue with the molding. Or a spider issue with the fiberglass. Foam Probably didn't fill all the cavity and has to be redone.
Looking forward to hopefully getting my top in October.
Also the points taken on future videos are good.

Day 1 Order here (first 10 minutes) - I was expecting to get my top shipped this month after their last email to me in June stating that the top would be ready in August (like most of you). I just asked for an update this week and was told that it wouldn't ship until October 2023; when I asked how firm that date was, I was told that "it seems very possible".

For those that are curious about the details, see below (similar canned response as the other updates, but this time they're offering a refund):

"We are currently ramping up for final assembly and will contact you when your top is finished (October). We do apologize for the consistent delays. The issue stems from the suppliers. Every time we would request a new timeline, they would provide it. That timeline would come and it would be incorrect. We then in turn updated our customers upon request with new timelines. Our timelines were incorrect because the suppliers timelines were completely inaccurate. All materials finally arrived mid-late May.
Unfortunately we had quality control issues that had to do with foam injection and paint and had to ramp down to get those issues dialed in. We are now back in final assembly, but at a slower rate, which is the reason for the delays.
If you do not wish to wait any longer, we completely understand and will offer a full refund. If you do wish to wait, I can assure you that the hardtop is better than anything on the market. It will be well worth the wait."

I'd love some advice from this group: our soft-top is broken and noisy, so we really need a hardtop for the fall/winter. Should we cancel and get something else before it gets too late in the season or just wait and hope ADV actually delivers in October?
Hard to say. I’m still waiting on my AC top, but I also only had to pay a deposit and not the full price like ADV requires…

I will say, every time I see a Bronco cross in front of me with a factory hard top, I think “ that would look so much better with just a little slant back”, and it strengthens my resolve to be patient just a little bit

Mike Levine talk??
Please don't remind me of that fiasco it brings back nightmares.
I though I had put it out of my memory when I got in and first started my bronco for the first time.
Now you went and brought it all back
