It's interesting that there still haven't been any photos or videos of their sound deadening headliner. And in the latest video posted yesterday, they again touched on it as an option but didn't go into any detail. What's up with that?

I'm finding in recent weeks the videos are getting a bit repetitive and covering off info that can be found in other videos. I've actually stopped watching them now.

The only other one I want to see is the installation video.

I think they didn't expect to make so many videos IMO. I remember the first announcement was about 4 videos and the last one supposed to be the installation. And between then and now they found a quality problem. My assumption...

I was thinking that too, but the fact that you can order their top without the headliner makes me think it’s not the issue. Because why not just ship the units that ordered without the headliner then?

Well, they did deny any components being an issue a few weeks ago…

Agreed, but it must be one of the factors they are dealing with and not telling customers about. If they had one and knew what they were doing with the headliner there would be a video about it by now. They ignore and deflect anytime it is brought up.

They have also been very active on the forums lately, but haven’t actually posted since the start of July.

Can you speak to/address any of the concerns being discussed here?
Are there QC issues with any of the components of the top?
-The rubber seals?
-The headliner?
-Any other parts?
Or were the QC issues mentioned, only related to rushed final assembly?

When can we expect to see video of a top with the headliner?

We were unable to start final assembly till mid-late May because of the supply chain delays as of many of you know. We ramped up very quickly with the hope and intent to catch up on supplier delays but noticed some minor quality control issues during the final assembly process. We ramped down, solved all the issues (which mainly had to do with procedures/processes), and now are at a slower rate of final assembly to ensure the quality is consistent.

We were unable to start final assembly in the past because we did not have all necessary materials and because of that, we were unable to work through any potential final assembly kinks (quality control issues) before hand. We could have been shipping tops a month ago but they would not have been B quality (On a scale of 1-10, 10 being perfect, B would be 8). We made the executive decision to trash the un-passable parts and start the final assembly process again on those orders to ensure our customers receive the quality we are known for (A+). We know that the delays are less than ideal but the quality will be worth it. These QC/FA minor issues are nothing to worry about, this is simply us working through the initial stages of finally getting started on final assembly.

As for headliner, we will post youtube content of that when it is available.
