asked yesterday about shipping/pick up estimated dates and received this response:

"We are currently ramping up for final assembly and will contact you when your top is finished (October). We do apologize for the consistent delays. It comes down to the fact that supply chain has been nothing but difficult since the beginning of this project. We were unable to start final assembly till mid-late May because of the supply chain delays. We ramped up very quickly but noticed some quality control issues. We ramped down, solved all the issues, and now are at a slower rate of final assembly. We were unable to start final assembly in the past because we did not have all necessary materials and because of that, we were unable to work out and final assembly kinks (quality control issues) before hand. We could have been shipping tops a month ago but they would not have been quality. We made the executive decision to trash the un-passable parts and start the process again to ensure our customers receive the quality we are known for. We know that the delays are less than ideal but the quality will be worth it.

On a side note, we will be releasing hardtop content on our YouTube each Tuesday for the foreseeable future!

They gave you an October delivery date so I am curious as to when you ordered it to give everyone an idea of what the realistic lead time is since 12 weeks ARO doesn't seem possible based on their backlog.

I ordered 12/20/22 and I'm local to them so I will be picking up/having them install it.

B 2022, and they said September,
Doesn't look good for a hardtop for waterfowl season..
Still wondering why the aren't shipping completed units rather than delaying everybody.

UGH... I hope these "quality control issues" are not issues with the rubber we all waited months for. (My biggest fear). That could add months.
In just the past couple weeks, we have gone from August, to September, to October...
I've been as positive as I can be, and still fully believe in the quality of this product, but it really doesn't matter how great it is if I never actually receive one.

Oh wow, October now?! Wonder if that effects the pre-orders that happened very first hour?

I really don't want to but a good chance I'll have to ask for a refund...This is insane and if October for EVERYONE is true, then I hope they can help me get a refund on my TRMR roof rack and my RTT...Thoughts?

As of when, did you get a recent update or is this the prior promise.
I'm 1st hour. Feb 2022, I think we are in the same time frame.
Hope it's not another quality issue with the molding.
It's unbelievable that these issues keep popping up.
HOWEVER, credit to ADV for adhering to strict quality control.
A lot of companies. Are you listening FORD would have pushed it through.

I feel the same. I really prefer this product over any others on the market (or soon to be).
BUT, If someone would have told me in March I could order the Anderson modular top, and gotten it in May/June OR kept my ADV order and waited until October or later...
Well, I might have given it some serious consideration

It's interesting that there still haven't been any photos or videos of their sound deadening headliner. And in the latest video posted yesterday, they again touched on it as an option but didn't go into any detail. What's up with that?

I'm finding in recent weeks the videos are getting a bit repetitive and covering off info that can be found in other videos. I've actually stopped watching them now.

The only other one I want to see is the installation video.

Yeah, and when you see that video with "3rd party hardtop" compare to ADV and OEM :D
