lol

First hour order 1 piece and getting it installed in San Diego....it'll be ready late October...
Which means, early November (probably) for install.

This is honestly a load of crap at this point.

I thought you were going to patiently wait lol. Look at it like this, its coming. I feel for. The guys who have canceled and now are stuck waiting for their ac tops.

I am hoping to have it in my driveway before I start duck hunting I. Late November. Now on the other hand if we get another delay ... that's a different story.

I've told myself that I'll give it until the end of October based off their latest level of confidence. After that, I'm out. That'll be a year they've had my money with no product delivered. I think that's more than fair, so we'll see how it goes. They seemed pretty confident on the latest update, so I hope it's true.

HAHAHA, the wife pressured me! Personally, I have almost no issues waiting but the real problem is my friend in San Diego has a ton of stuff in his garage to put on the hardtop because it was much cheaper shipping there (TRMR rack's the main thing) and his wife wants it out ASAP.

I now have to fly to San Diego, and ship all that stuff back to my place in Chicago. Since I've waited so long, I think I'd die a bit inside if I requested a refund.

It does suck knowing no matter the crap situation the consumers end have, every last one of these hardtops will be sold no problem

whoever wins, we lose

I have had the bronco roof rack, extra crossbar, rear backup lights sitting so long in my porch that they seem natural.
My wife even just walks around them without a word.
I promised her I would splurge on a lobster roll dinner as soon as I get my top in place.
Still hasn't stopped the comments about me being glued to this thread.
Hope your friend is flexible.
I'm hoping my buyer for the softtop is still hanging in there. If not somebody else will grab it.

Being a dec. 22 donator I feel for those of you over a year in .

Not Bronco related but I had started a building project around the same time .

Now that is held up with delays for the slab and build but the building gets delivered Oct. 2 .
I have a feeling the top will arrive right in the middle of the mess.

And that’s just fine

Here's the thing I cannot wrap my head around...
Last December, we were told that our tops were "right around the corner", and in FINAL assembly.
All they were waiting on was the rubber.
Then in early May, we were notified that the rubber had arrived, and final assembly was beginning.

Now, we are being told they found issues with the injection process/color/etc.
what were they doing in all that time they were waiting on the rubber to arrive? (and yes, I'm aware they have other products).
You'd think they'd have gone over all the parts with a fine-tooth comb to ensure there were absolutely NO issues when the rubber arrived so they could get these things cranked out and shipped with no delay.

yup, thats what i hoped that they were doing, so either they didnt check it out or the issues took time to develope. I was under the impression that everything was ready to go and just waiting on the rubber. apparently not.
BUT all's well that ends well and hopefully in a few short weeks we will see the installs and sound proofing headliner videos and also get our shipping information. I still believe that there are tops right now ready to be shipped but they are concentrating on getting them all ready to ship at the same time -- this could be the decision based on most efficient use of manpower. OR there is a discounted shipping arrangement. ANYWAY lets look forward to happily posting that we have shipping info and then pictures of tops on broncos. looks like I may have the damn thing on for this years waterfowl season,

They mentioned a heavy discount on installs but I 100% will not be holding my breath

Well, a heavy discount on installing nothing is $0, so that's a pretty significant discount in my opinion.

I think they said 500 for install a d 250 to remove the soft top.
This was waaaaay back when. However, they also told me they timed themselves a it was 1 hour install.
My point at the time was they are experienced with the top. Whereas I am not and will be taking my sweet time making sure everthing is just right.
I still will be allowing 1 and half hours for soft top and hardware removal and three hrs for a cautious install.
