$3200 for an OEM soft top? I was told around $1200-ish.
The side panels and rear panel are each over $500. I have a hard time seeing the whole assembly being $1,200

So your saying this crappy looking wave in the side windows of the factory soft top is intentionally done, and there was no way they could have engineered it to pull tight when you lower the rear down. Hmmm
No it’s not by design. It’s poor engineering. If you put butt connectors in there, it straightens the window and doesn’t affect functionality

Totally agree here. Not to mention, there’s a market for those still wanting a MIC top now and not wanting to wait to purchase though Ford. I’ll gladly sell mine for a few thousand and upgrade to what ADV is offering.
I would be interested in buying your MIC, keep me updated if you go that route.

I'm not surprised at the price. I priced a Leer topper for my Ranger last year, and it was right at 3K. These folks have a lot invested in the project, and they need to make that money back along with enough profit to pay the bills, utilities, and their employees. Do I wish it were cheaper, yes. But, I don't think it's our place to berate ADV. They produced a product people were asking for, and it's our choice whether we buy that product, or not. Good on you ADV, the tops look great.

I called it! Sorry, but I'm happy those that jumped the line with soft tops gonna have to wait for the hard tops in 2024 and still gonna cost them thousands, those who are waiting for Ford and their Bronco with hardtops are winning this round. IMO
actually winning is driving and off-roading my Bronco right now and for the last 5 months ..Love the soft top, but originally was going to order the dual top option.

In addition I got my Bronco 4 door 2.7 Badlands, Sasquatch LUX for $2000 under invoice ...Winning

Have you seen an actual top or just a computer generated image? OEM soft and hard tops looked good as computer images too…but reality is something else.
It’s true they’re a company and the goal is to make money…some try and do that by hoping to sell a few at a high price while others sell more at a lower price. I think they’d get more customers and if they lowered the price. Volume sales produce profit too.

I'm like you. I haven't seen the actual top, no one has. The fact of the matter here is ADV isn't making anyone buy their top. They produced it, they priced it, and if we don't want to pay that price, we don't have too. We can wait on the Ford MIC top, and solve the price problem easily. But if we opt to get the soft top on the off chance we can get our Broncos earlier thinking of buying a hard top later, then we pay the price or stay with the soft top. I agree if the price were lower they may sell more. But none of us know what the price of making the top is after all of the overhead costs are figured in.

I don’t get the impression ADV is in the business of selling cheap crap at low prices. There will be plenty of other options for that. From the looks and reviews of their other products, their work is immaculate. This top should follow suit. A premium product at a premium price.

There are other vendors on this site who are selling (admittedly nice) products that are extremely expensive for what they are, but they don’t get nearly the amount of shit that ADV does…

I like the ADV hardtop, nice looking, price is a little over what I thought if shipping were included, but I really wanted door storage in the back, so I prefer the original style.

Well... not by design, my bad on that. it's the side-effect of how they designed the kickstand feature.

Like @rdg698 mentioned, it was bad engineering. Or... honestly... it was probably just the sacrifices they had to make on materials to meet their desired price point while retaining all of the features they wanted in the soft top.

Bestop gets around the waves in the window by fastening the window directly body of the Bronco using a plastic bracket and by making their window itself more rigid. Which they can do for relatively low cost because they don't have that kickstand feature to worry about, and their soft top doesn't fold all the way back like it does on the factory soft top.

Do we know the doors wouldn’t fit? I mean, the slant on the ADV top isn’t that extreme. Do the doors take up every single cubic inch of the cargo bay, including the very upper rear corner?
