My last two cars have had frameless windows and it works every time. It’s voodoo magic for sure. I can never trick it. It’s almost like it won’t let you open the door until the window goes down, but it happens in a split millisecond so you never notice a delay.
Ditto with my wife’s 2005 PT GT Convertible. The window drops perfectly every time….. Only issue: It’s her summer ride, so I store it in the garage over winter. Left the (new) battery in last winter and killed it. Then, I couldn’t open the doors because there was no power to drop the window. Had to send my son in through trunk to pop the hood to swap the battery out first.

Lucky you.
I’m patiently waiting for my 4 door base, V6, MIC-in production status since 7/2/21.

So like everyone I have been waiting, my delivery date was suppose to be the 14th through the 20th, the dealership that I ordered through said they would let me know when it shows up, nothing. So today I decided to call and guess what, showed up a few days ago and that it was ready. Drove down to finally get my bronco. When I got there it wasn't ready, no pdi done. Wouldn't want to start the paperwork today. Got to see it and let's say it is amazing. Took a few pictures. Will update when I actually get my bronco whenever that is.

A buddy of mine, his came in on a Friday, and he wasn't told until the following Tuesday.
Then I find on Facebook where the dealer had produced a big promotional/walk through video over the weekend with it.

I think when I get a delivery window (if that ever happens, 7/13), I'll drive the long way home everyday and see if it's there. I don't think my salesman would even bother to call me for a week.

Total and utter BS...

PDI takes 2 hours at the ABSOLUTE LONGEST.

You should've been driving your Bronco home the same day it arrived at the dealership.

I know the owner of this dealership. We are shooting buddies. He is a stand up guy. He will not screw you over. He is selling a friend of mine fully loaded Raptor below $1000 below MSRP. Brokers have offered him $9000 over MSRP for the Raptor and he turned it down. If you do the math that's at $10,000 dollar swing.

If he turned down $9000 over MSRP for a Raptor why would he screw you on Bronco. I think the only car that he marks up are the GT 500. Everything else he pretty much sells for MSRP.

I'm sorry that you're having an issue with the delivery but you won't get screwed.
So I hate to say it man but they are trying to screw me over. They said the pdi is going to take too long for me to sign the paperwork today, the bronco has been there since last week

Did I read on here somewhere that a regional Ford expert rep is required to go to the dealership to do the PDI? If so, I could see a delay, but a week seems absurd.

Well I told them I was going to come down there with my baby and toddler and going to wait until it's ready. Funny because now it will be ready by 5

Not if Techs are busy and there’s other sold units that need PDI. Factor in your salesman’s time, maybe they’re on vacation, family emergency? Maybe the vehicle has transport damage or other verifying factors. Believe it or not, there are other customers and Broncos don’t take priority.

I had my 5 year old with me or else I would have, and of course they started pulling that "we've had tons of people offering us money for this since they know we have it" I'm paranoid now after reading the experiences some people have had with shaddy dealerships haha
Yes, reading the BS that others are trying to scare you with is part of being in forums- the doomsayers are prolific on every account- and they gain great joy in making others feel bad

After I told them I was going to just go down there and wait until its ready they said it would be ready today by 5. This dealership has always been pretty good, but a pandemic has brought out the worst in people. They have almost no stock, its basically just used cars. When I went there yesterday they had only got 2 other cars ,one that already had pdi done. It was an f250, which I get priority with that one, they have been waiting longer on truck deliveries than my bronco.

The way things are is not going to change soon. My Wrangler is worth more today than it was a year ago. Fun times.

Like I said initially. It’s all about communication. Putting myself in a customer shoes, I’d want a phone call, text, or email stating the process and ETA for it to be finished. A week to 10 days is a lot but I don’t know all the facts.

No I know the problem telling me it's ready Sunday I go down there it's not ready they tell me it will be ready Monday, they call and tell me I can't get it today. I know at the end of the day I'm not special because I reserved a Bronco over a year ago, but as someone who works for myself, if I did what they did, I would put myself out of business. With technology and social media, word spreads and while it can be helpful it can also destroy a business reputation even faster. Being blown off no communication and who knows how the paperwork is going to go, and since I have a trade in the did an appraisal which I have since put more miles on so who knows if they are going to try and offer me less, which is already less than what other dealers have offered
