I’m be got the mid package and wish I had wireless charging. Is there any way to get the wireless charger part and have it installed? I know there are charging mounts aftermarket, but I’d like to to look as clean/factory as possible

The factory wireless charger is a complete waste. All it does is severely overheat your phone and doesn’t actually charge. You’re far better off with an aftermarket solution.

You aren't missing out much on the factory wireless charger. It doesn't charge well and constantly moves from the proper spot and loses its connection. I've seen where some have adapted better wireless chargers in the same location that function better.
I like a lot of things about my bronco, but the wireless charging was a disappointment.

Why not just plug it in?

No you don’t. Wait until someone makes a kit the recess in the console is there. It’s only 5 watt charging and with wireless CarPlay running your phone gets extremely hot and doesn’t gain any battery percentage. Total piece of junk. Someone retrofitted an Apple MagSafe charger in place. They charge at 15 watt just wait until someone comes out with a nice kit that utilizes the Apple charge puck. Assuming you use Apple, either way 5 watt with CarPlay running nets you nothing but heat.

1) NANAMI Fast Wireless Charger (7.5W Apple, 10W Android)
2) 6 inch 90 degree usb C cable
3) Small 3d printed plate to rise the base level up with the rest of the charging plate
4) Move the rubber mat on top of it all.

Looks pretty clean to me.

Pictures both before I realized the mat was removable and after.

I just don't think it's necessary to use wireless charging when using wireless carplay. It's good to use wired carplay at this time. Just like you're holding your phone to play games or watch TV while it's charging, charging your phone with a wireless charger and using carplay at the same time can get hot. this is normal.

Dont be jealous. Wireless charging is crap. All it does is turn your phone into a brick of lava.

No it’s not. I installed a real MagSafe charger, wireless CarPlay for hours, not one bit warm. The OEM charger is garbage.

I think this product is a bit like adding a charging port to the back of your mobile phone to make it more convenient for you to operate the mobile phone. I have seen other people sharing this product on youtube, it should look good, although I haven't used it yet Pass
