It’s all about allocations. And not necessarily dealers over selling. When this process first started, it was based on reservation order not allocations. But Ford took in way more reservations than they could build the first year and then started using the allocation model instead after the first year. I will give credit though to Ford and some dealers, they tried to clear out the old reservations this year before the PO’s expire, but that meant they were debiting the dealers next year’s allotment. This means many of the dealers who were very present on this forum early on won’t be getting any 2024 allocations for Bronco’s but they at least did everything they could to support their customers.See, that's what I'm trying to understand and I'd love if someone can answer this exact question. How is it that some ppl who had orders from a year + ago are now getting scheduled and others who placed their orders this March are also getting scheduled? I understand it's due to constraints such as MIC, SAS, etc.. but still... Some scheduled orders from March have every single item on back order and are getting scheduled within few months. I placed an order for a 24 Everglades last week so I'm trying to set some expectations for myself and I can't really make sense of the whole scheduling thing
