Most states are 3 repairs for the same item, OR 30 days out of service. Due to parts availability, a lot of folks are able to use the 30 days section.. As stated “I’m no lawyer”. However you are incorrect. The “30 days” is only one criteria of the Maryland Lemon law.
A quick check of the MD AG website says that 30 days out of service would trigger the statute. So, 30 days is dispositive.
Other things can trigger it as well, but nobody is suggesting that this is Ford's 4th attempt to swap an engine, nor is it a failure to fix a braking or steering issue.
