  1. Ford Performance ProCal Issue - Help Needed

What is the risk of leaving the Procal tune on when taking it in to the dealer for service?
  2. Could rocking back and forth when stuck break your front differential.

You are in a situation where traction is very limited. Sounds like both times it is a situation where you have the rear locker on and you aren't moving, so both rear tires have limited traction. Also at least one of the front tires has limited traction so three tires are spinning and the car...
  3. Best Top Skyrider

I've had it on for a little over 2000 miles. At highway speed with the top up you get more road noise and a little bit of wind rumbling the canvas. When you pass a big semi and break through the wind, sometimes the turbulence will make it will bang or pop. This is more pronounced when driving...
  4. Best Top Skyrider

I have one, I love it. I think it is better than the soft top because it retains the back glass, wiper, and lift gate.
  5. 2023 Braptor Completly Dead

Clearly it is totally worn out. Time to buy a new one. Send me your address and I will help you dispose of it.
  6. 1973 Bronco window sticker

It is important to remember when looking at car prices back in the 1960s and 1970s, that no one expected those cars to last 100,000 miles. At 60,000 miles they were considered 'worn out' and at 80,000 miles people would say they aren't worth fixing. People who managed to get one to last to...
  7. 2024 Badlands - to SAS or Not

I love my ‘23 BL non-SAS. Just got back from Moab where it performed great. I test drove both SAS and non-SAS and I picked the non-SAS for better acceleration on the street. This is my daily, so I went with the better street manners, and I don’t think I gave up much on the trails.
  8. MPG-what am I doing wrong?

I was taught to drive by my dad in the gas-shortage 1970's when all the cars got 15 MPG or less. I've got almost 5000 miles on my 2.7L Badlands, and I've been observing what saves gas. 1) It has plenty of power if you step on the throttle, but even moderate acceleration really consumes fuel...
  9. Sun rider

I installed the Sunrider last weekend. It has been in the box since last year when I bought the truck. There is a little extra wind noise, but it isn't so loud I can't enjoy music or anything. Part of the reason I got the Bronco was to be able to drive around with the top open, and the panels...
  10. Bestop Sun Rider?

When you order the Bestop Sunrider or Skyrider from the factory, it will come in boxes in the back of the truck. My dealership did *not* install it for me. Also it cost about $500 more than just buying it directly from Bestop.
  11. Good looking license plate holder for front?

The one that rips off my front plate is the kind with the spinning rags. The 'no drill' bracket is plenty sturdy enough to resist the wind, but not much else. It isn't bolted to anything and clamps the edge of a curved surface with soft aluminum.
  12. Good looking license plate holder for front?

I don't want to shade the HBTFD bracket, but I have the 'no drill' version for the "capable" steel bumper and an automatic car wash has ripped it off twice. (it kind of clamps the edge of the bumper with some aluminum sheet). I'm switching to the DV8 slanted which seems like it might last a...
  13. Good iPhone Mount Using "Accessory Ready" point at top of Dash?

Tackfom has a variety of options https://www.tackform.com/pages/6th-gen-2021-ford-bronco-device-mounts
  14. Anyone add additional support for the BAM Rail?

If we are talking about alternatives to the BAM, Tackform makes a pretty sturdy looking dash mount for the Bronco.
  15. UAW goes on strike @ MAP Bronco / Ranger factory [ADMIN WARNING: NO INSULTS, NO POLITICS]

Sundays and Holidays are double time. I'm not sure what the current contract says, but there may be more than time-and-a-half once they hit a certain number of hours per week. A Caterpillar diesel mechanic with 5 years experience working 40 hours a week makes more than $125k. Yeah, good blue...
  16. No Bronco Scheduling This Week (8/3/23)

I had a run-in with Serramonte a few months ago on a BL. I called them, they wanted $20K ADM, I told them not happening, but maybe $2k ADM. Two weeks later at the end of the month they said the would do $2K ADM. So I went there, but I didn't close the deal because it had MGV and Sas. The MGV...
  17. 05/29/2023 Build Week Thread

As soon as the truck arrived at the dealership the tracker skipped "shipped" and went straight to "Delivery"
  18. 05/29/2023 Build Week Thread

6/1 In Production, 6/19 “Built”. Then nothing. Today the dealership called and said my Bronco arrived 7/9. When I checked the tracker this morning, no change, now it shows prepared for delivery. Too bad I bought another one off the lot three weeks ago. Someone else is going to get a very...
