A long series of events led us to buying a 2022 Wildtrak with 450 miles on it. We love the Wildtrak. We decided a Badlands fit our needs better to start with the build we want to do for our business. After extensive searching by my wife, she found a brand new 2023 Badlands for less than MSRP. We purchased it and had it shipped to AZ. The Bronco arrived on Tuesday 03/28/2023. It had 14 miles on it. My wife picked it up free m he transporter and drove it home. She drove it to run a few errands and a check engine light kicked on at 20 miles. She received a notification of a crank case ventilation sensor out of range code. I got home several hours later and started it up. The check engine light was now flashing and showing an engine overheat condition immediately upon startup. It also showed hatch and doors open that weren’t. Clearly an electronic issue. The bronco was towed to our local dealer on Wednesday where it still sits. The tech cleared the codes and drove 4 miles without it returning. The service advisor said they want to drive it more on Monday but they think it’s a thermostat stuck. I’m certain it’s electrical and not a thermostat. I’m really disappointed with @Ford on this one. Any one else have similar issues???

There are a few post where owners are facing issues with new vehicles. I would argue that these immediate issues with brand new cars is the better scenario as oppose to have these issues at 10k or 20k or 30k. Clearly there is an issue and Ford will take care of it. If you feel Ford produced a bad product then sell it. I bet you can get all your $$ back easily.

I agree with #beach_bum. You most likely have a loose battery cable or ground

How about Ford gets past Fix or Repair Daily! Zero confidence in the vehicle.

Battery cables and all grounds I could find were tight.

Seems like whenever there are multiple error codes, checking and tightening the fuse box often resolves the issue.
That’s what I was hoping. Under hood is tight and fuses seated.

Good afternoon! Please send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info, and I'll look into your concerns on my end.
