Nice! Been raining here in the northeast allll weekend. On the upside I did get to meet a B6G member face to face, he bought my BD steelies I had on the market place. And you’re right, retirement is not for everyone. I retired, got bored and went to work for a neighboring jurisdiction.

I’m so sorry for all the issues you’re having Do you think you should go see what your dealership has to say with these problems popping up?

I havent had a chance yet to pull my husband in on the noise situation. I should be able to get his ear tomorrow.

I’m bringing it in now they have a loaner for me. I’ll have them take a look at the phasers, but I don’t think it’s loud enough to warrant replacing at this point.

I feel like there was an issue with the cam phaser rattle in the F150’s with the 2.7’s awhile back. I need to go do some research on that. Maybe its the same issue and hopefully an easy fix!

As soon as it started leaking I drove straight there and got a loaner. Regardless I can’t pick it back up until Friday.

Mine is in at my dealer right now for hard top leaks and a defect in the leather seat.

I haven't seen many 2.7s in for phaser rattle BUT its not impossible. Have them do a full diag! There's no TSB or anything thru Oasis yet so its not a widespread issue but I've heard of a few having it

I’m having them look at that as well. Apparently a message went out to the service depts over rattle on the Broncos and F150s and recommended replacing all phasers.

Ask about the solenoids being replaced too. Our service departments have replaced the solenoids at the same time as they tend to fail and require the same teardown. It'll save you and the dealer the headaches in the future

Build family - curiosity question - what grade fuel do you put in? Regular, mid-grade, or premium? If I could figure out how to do one of those poll things that would be easier....
