That one only has 86 miles on it and I hadn't started it in a couple weeks. They do sound the same to me. I sure hope it's "nothing". Now I'm going to get that one out and mess with it in the next couple days and see if anything changes. My first one i sent you has right at 2200 miles on it. I can't imagine that more miles would make a difference though.

Did you change the oil in the first one? The 2.7 is filled with 7 qts from the factory, but the service capacity is only 6. I split the difference and put 6.5 in. Maybe the fill volume is causing it.

I haven’t changed the oil yet. I think i’ll check both’s levels and see where they are on the dipsticks. Im going to go out later and mess with them. Ill let you know what i find, if anything.

And I learned something new, never knew the lower louvers opened and closed until I saw your vid. @Isles13 I’m going for an oil change on Wednesday, I’ll let you know if I hear a change. Hey…..what I know, the 7/24 fam will know. Like for instance, if you install the hood struts, 1) use felt or thin rubber on the part that attaches the strut to the hood to protect your paint. 2) ease your hood up after the install of said NEW hood struts, cause if you let it free fly it just might catch a split lip from your steed. JK ….,not that bad but it will snap up and bounce the hinge a bit

@Isles13 I checked the oil in both and they were spot on the same level. I’m going to get my husbands ear involved for another opinion to see what he thinks too.

@Wallyworld Ranger 269 I just learned something new. I couldn’t remote start, with the fob, while the hood was propped up. As soon as i closed the hood, it started right up.

I'm 10 years into what will probably be a 40 year career because retirement seems impossible 🫣

I hope everyone retires when they want to. That being said, retirement is not for everyone. I retired, and it was ok for about six months. Afterwards, I realized it wasn’t for me, and I am much more happy working.
