What I do not like about replacement glass; IMO, it is never as good as factory. The only time I had a windshield replaced, the installer's knife (to cut the seal) severely gouged the A-pillar on both sides. I hear this is a major complaint....damage to the vehicle during install, to include body damage. For me, if I can prevent the damage....I will do that. When my current ExoShield needs replacing, I will go with their newer version. I believe it is called ExoShield-Ultra.Thick clear plastic armor for the windshield. I had a 2010 Mini Cooper JCW that was my track toy. It was new technology back then. $1200 back then for the Mini. Worked great on the track and one day on the highway a stone hit perfect between the A- Pillar and the exoshield. 1 in a million I was told. Cracked. Insurance would only replace the glass and puff the $1200 was gone. Why I was hesitant. Bronco they want $600. Insurance in AZ is deductible on glass. Still thinking. Once the factory seal or cherry is broken there is no going back.
