So, I went to the dealership after lunch today to have a talk with the shop forman and discuss it a bit because I'm just not totally sure they are feeling what I am. I'm suspicous about it being the torque converter. I was told that someone would let him know that I was there so he could come talk to me. After being there for about 15 minutes, I was told that he "just stepped out for lunch"...ok....so I told the service rep to have him call me. I just received a text from her that said he preferred that I email him....
SO, I let her know that I have doubts about it being the torque convertor, and if I'm right that it's something else, and they basically have to take the transmission out of the vehicle and that doesn't fix it, I'll be dealing with the owner of the 17 dealerships.
I'm really not a difficult person to deal with, until I feel like I'm being dissed....

new update, shop forman decided that maybe he should call me, and we had a good long talk, and I told him that I was doubtful about the torque converter being the issue because the moment the vehicle stops, the vibration goes away....He told me that FORD has told him that they have a known issue with some torque converters, and the vibration detection device they hooked up to the vehicle pointed to that being the issue, he's sure that's it. So, we will update when I hear something else, and obviously this is something that others may want to stay tuned in to.

Ironically, We split up and the Bronco purchase was my freedom gift to myself. She doesn't even know that I own it. lol
Sounds like you figured out one of your problems. Now figure out the other one.

My dad always told me "If it has tits or wheels it will give you problems."

Well, I thought I would keep this updated, although it does seem like this may be an isolated issue, so I'm not sure how many people it will help. After 2 more weeks just sitting at the dealership apparently waiting on a backordered torque converter, I drove back to the dealership to find out the latest, mainly because I had called and sent texts to the number that was communicating with me, and no one would call back or text. So, I fired an email off to the owner, and a couple of hours later, I get a call from the service manager that tells me the torque converter was in, but now they are having second thoughts about it and they want me to come in this afternoon and ride with the shop foreman to make sure that we are all in agreement on what the issue will be. If @Ducati1098
sees this, any ideas or discussions that I may need to have with them this afternoon??

Not much I can add here. They need to just start eliminating things one by one if they have no clear direction, or they need to contact their FSE for further direction.

Thanks! I'll keep this updated as this saga continues, maybe it will end up being something that someone else finds helpful.

Thanks, we are all curious what the actual problem is. I too have a vibration that’s annoying and tire balancing hasn’t resolved it.

interesting....I'll keep this updated. They may try to say that it's normal, but I'm going to make them drive a new with me to show me that it is.....it's not normal. This numbs my hands when I drive it more than a few minutes. The service manager did say that they had a lot that had that issue and had to have the torque converter replaced (they being Ford) but Ducati1098 would have certainly confirmed that if that's true. but the TC was a backordered item....who knows.

Yeah Ford TC problems are common, just not for this concern. I've only replaced them due to TCC shudder or the TCC being stuck on. Also, this transmission in general, isn't one of the Ford transmissions that typically has TC problems. I've never replaced one on a 10R60.

I had a similar vibration on a Jeep Grand Cherokee eons ago. The root cause was cracked engine mounts. They were faulty and would cause the whole car to shake. The engine mounts got replaced and the vibration went away. Just a thought on what could be happening.

latest update - Met with the shop foreman last night and they hooked up a vibration analyzer to the Bronco and we took a ride. I drove while I explained to him what I could feel and he rode in the passenger seat with his laptop while watching the vibration trends. As soon as I would start out, the engine and all 4 wheels would turn red(which I would assume there was some level of vibration) and shortly after we we moving, the engine would stop showing red, but all 4 wheels stayed red. After we talked about this more, he believed that because this was a leftover 24 model, and the vehicle likely sat in one place for long periods of time, the tires likely flat spotted, and they all may need to be replaced. The vibration reading was coming from all 4 tires. He told me about the time just after covid when truck prices jumped, and everyone was scared to buy something anyway. The most expensive trucks they had on the lot were Platinum F-150s. He said that almost every one of those had to have the tires replaced before they could be sold.
I feel like this is a more likely scenario than the torque converter, so they're going to deal with the tires today. He said they likely would try to road force balance them one more time just to see if that can solve it, but he believed they will end up replacing the tires.

That’s interesting. I always felt my vibration is from the tires. It’s the typical vibration that’s worst around 45 mph. I’m at 12K miles now and after 3 rotations and rebalances it’s still does it. And ours is a 2024 Oct built sold in Feb.

I'll keep this updated if they are able to fix this issue, whether it's balancing the tires or replacing them. I felt like the vibration was faster than the tire rotation, so I was believing it was a driveshaft or axle, but I can buy that it's more than one tire, which would make sense...

@NCCarguy I mentioned in an earlier post how smooth my '24 Wildtrak was and that yours should be similar. I ordered mine and took delivery about 2 weeks after it was assembled, so there was no time for the tires to get flat spots. You may be onto the real cause of your vibration... Good Luck!

I'm not convinced. I have two sports cars that get stored through the winter. Sometimes as long as 5 months. In the spring when first getting them on the road I can feel the vibration from the flat spots for a mile or two, but then it resolves itself.

Now those two cars have softer summer tires (Michelin Pilot Sport 4s on the CTS-V and Continental Extreme Contact Sports on the Roush) vs. the OEM Goodyears on the Bronco, so maybe they react differently.
