2025 Bronco Sound Deadening

I currently have a 2024 Wildtrak with the MIC top and I love everything about it, save for the B&O system and the noise level, especially wind noise, at freeway speeds. This mostly comes from my wife's discomfort on long drives and it doesn't help that where I live is very windy anyway. I'm going to try the Hothead velcro-on panels to see if it helps.

My curiosity though is with the specs of the MY25 Broncos, where Ford calls out improved sound deadening. I imagine the painted top might be a part of that and perhaps other sound deadening in the chassis, but I'm wondering if the different is noticeable.

Does anyone have any direct experience with the MY25 interior noise levels? Was it noticeably improved?

I can’t compare it to older ones, but I definitely hear wind whistling on my 25 HE over 45-50 mph. It’s at least quieter after removing the factory roof rack. I have heard that lubing the top panel gaskets with silicon will help quiet squeaks and stuff over rough roads and plan to try that because my driveway access road is kinda rough. Not sure if it will make a difference for wind noise on smooth roads. I have the white top with the black insulation squares that only partly line the panels.

EDIT: I would be skeptical of anyone who says their Bronco top has no wind noise. There is a chance they are partly deaf and don’t realize it.

Seriously, though, I dynamattd the entire trunk area because my exhaust was a tad droney and that quieted things down a bit. Road noise doesn't come just from up top. The "cooler" has almost zero insulation at all and the rest really doesn't have much either. I wouldn't put it in the door because that'll just make them even heavier and my floor is the rubber mat so not there either but doing the back did make a difference overall.

So I have the Bestop Sunrider soft top and I will tell you it's Loud over 55 mph,,,,,NO complaints but- it's Loud.....

Yeah, I have no expectations that the Bronco would ever be as quiet as an F150 or something with a fixed roof, but if Ford added additional sound deadening, they clearly see some owners would like at least the hard top toned down a bit. I have heard the Armadillo top quiets things down, so that does suggest there are things Ford could do, or may have done for MY25.

If the MY25 was noticeably quieter, that (among some other things) might get me pondering trading up. I like the Bronco too much to want to look at other vehicles.

Can’t hear the wind noise over the tire noise. ‘24 Wildtrak with stock Goodyears. 25k miles. Figure if I drive it long enough, I won’t be hearing much of anything.

Most of the noise I hear now comes from the tires or windshield area (if I'm going 70-75+)

Less than 1000 miles on my 2025 with non-painted MIC top, and I’ll say, not a quiet vehicle, but honestly not bad. There’s engine noise, tire noise, and what just feels like generic truck noise to me (it’s not a Benz sedan). Caveat is I don’t do much freeway driving, so maybe that’s the trick. With all the complaining here I expected roof noise to be much worse. No squeaks or rattles (yet).

FYI, I ordered a 25 badlands painted top with Sasquatch and hoss 3.0. I'm not sure what tires it will come with but let's see how it goes with road noise. I drive an 11 mustang GT with gt500 axle backs. This is my first truck so I'm sure some adjustments to my psychi will be normal.

Same as mine except for the painted top. It’ll come with Goodyear 35” M/T tires. Enjoy!
