2024 Double Honk gone???

I have had an early 2024 and a Job 2 2024(basically a 2024.5). Seems as if it was removed on the Job 2 Broncos. My Blend date is 8/1 which is a Job 2 Bronco. I have also noticed other little changes as well.

Shocked Ford did this but with an off road vehicle that you get in/out of all the time especially on trails, it needed to go or at least should of been a screen option like half of everything else.

I have an early ‘24 that does it. What are the odds Ford will send out an update to kill it on all Broncos??

Got my 2024 last month and it still has the double honk.

Mine too. Took delivery in August.

Makes sense. Mine was built in August and delivered in September and doesn’t honk.

I have set off the panic (by accident) at least 5 times since I got this Bronco in June. I've never had that problem with other Fords. (Keys were always in my pocket when it happened)

I wasn't aware that it could be disabled in Forscan. Now I have a second reason (in addition to double-honk) to stop procrastinating and figure out Forscan.

I changed mine to where you have to double press it. Haven't set it off since. I kind of forgot how annoying and slightly embarrassing that was.

did they change this for 24’s?

My 24 was delivered in March and had the double honk...first thing I changed in FORSCAN

If you have a bronco with double honk you can look into getting an eliminator kit. I bought this one for my 2023. Took no time to install and it works flawlessly.

queue the "b U t Y o U c A n U s E f O r S c A n!" Yeah you can, I just dont have it and this was an easy solution. Plug and play and can easily be reverted if you wanted to.

My Mid-24 Raptor had this double honk and it was a real menace. I used Superchips Flashcal to get rid of it.
