None of the modern Bronco engines sound good. They sound like what they are; small displacement high strung turbo engines. Doesn't mean they are "bad" power plants, but sounding good is not one of the upsides.

I put the Forscan details a few posts up (also below).

If you're not familiar with Forscan, I'll have a more dedicated how-to video probably within the next week, maybe two if I get lazy. (I was already working on a Forscan video, so this will be an easy add.)
I did what RagnarKon said:
727-01-01
Disabled: xxxx xxxx 0x**
Enabled: xxxx xxxx 1x**

It worked. There have been postings that this FENG enable/disable is in a plain English ACM config but I only have the As-Built/hex way listed in the Forscan latest and beta versions. So thanks!

Thanks everyone for this thread! I lived with the piped-in engine sound in my FocusST for years... so glad the info on the Bronco is easier to find!!

Does anyone have experience turning off the piped-in sound on the 2.7L in conjunction with adding an exhaust? I'm looking at a few different Axle-Back kits, and would love to get a more natural tone with volume coming from the rear more than all over.
