2023 Bronco OEM Subwoofer

Hi everyone. Wondering if anyone has seen this?

I just traded my 2021 for a 2023. Sticker says it’s a “7 speaker system”. I shined a flashlight through the rear passenger side speaker grille in the OEM subwoofer location and I see what looks like a woofer inside the grill but it does not move or make any noise.

I know there are subwoofer deletes on the 2023s but this clearly seems to have a subwoofer. It just doesn’t do anything.

Any thoughts in what Ford is doing with the subwoofer situation is?

Does your Window Sticker show the following line item with a $250 credit? If so, you have the sub delete, which includes a dummy Amp and a dummy woofer (with no magnet)

AM/FM,6 SPKRS,SDARS -250.00

That’s what I was looking for. If they are doing a dummy amp/enclosure, that has to be it.

Just pulled apart the panel on a 2023 obx that has the 6 speaker system. The sub encloser is there with a dummy sub. No magnet and there is an amp there. Not sure if it’s a dummy amp or not. Assuming it probably is. Everything is prewired and all hooked up. Anybody on her have any more information about this? Is the amp really a dummy amp or is it just the sub? Can I toss an 8” sub in there and have it work can I get oem amp for it? Any info will help

Amp box is empty. You can get a ford fusion amp and find an oem sub then forscan it all to work.

Anybody have the part number for the OEM subwoofer? I know the Ford Fusion amp is FoMoCo FP5T-18C808-AB
