I have a 2022 Wildtrak i took delivery on 11/11/22. I noticed my Odometer racking up miles rather quickly.
I verified the speedometer against a speedometer app form the Apple Store and a Delorme 3D
Professional mapping system. the Speedometer on the Vehicle is reading 2mph higher than both
refence devices consistently and linear at any speed. The Vehicle is factory stock with no modifications.
Tires 315/70 R17.
I have taken the vehicle to the dealer, and they have received a response form the Factory which essentially
states there is an error 3% below to 7% above which equates to 58-64 mph.
I have informed them that I verified these test devices against my 3 ford Trucks and my wife's Jeep all
in all cases they read on the money. I suggest that either there is an issue on their wheel sensors
or they are doing their math wrong in the mph calculation.
Either way a 3-7% error in today's technology is very poor.
I have since talked with Tech Factory Tech department (800-826-4694) and they have said there is a
recently released "ABS Module Update" and they will contact my Dealership. Stay tuned for more Info.
I would suggest owners verify the Speedometer on your Bronco's as well. 2mph+ is against me whereas
2mph- I would not complain.
