Ford Bronco 20-22" wheels? AFCECDA7-51EA-4772-9A70-8E3616D40527

If I were to run something that large, I’d make sure I’d have a fair amount of sidewall so potholes don’t wreck things and would consider an aggressive all-season to keep cost down.

I’ve kicked around around the idea of 37s on 20s just to flex on the squatch gatekeepers.

I'm going to put this the nicest way I can, and maybe someone will see it before @JAGSarge is forced to delete it.....but....

You people rocking 20"+ wheels on a truck or Bronco (throw in Jeep if you want)... DISGUST me. You shouldn't even own the vehicle at that point. If it's a low profile tire, it belongs on a CAR!
I sorta get it on a truck. Hell, I have 20s on my F250. Of course, I also have 37s and a fair amount of sidewall. It goes off road just fine, and tows what I need it to. And Limited F150s COME with 22s, and that's okay. They were never meant to go offroad, and they aren't some jacked up look-at-me toolmobile. They still do everything else a half ton truck would be used for just fine- and I would know.

But little tires on 22s, on a vehicle built for offroading? With no plans to leave pavement. I can't make sense of it. Why buy an offroad SUV when there are so many other options that would be more fun for the intended use.

I know, It's just all about looks. That's all that matters. Looking cool. But the thing is- no one thinks you look cool 🤷‍♂️

At the end of the day no one can stop anyone from doing what they want with their vehicle. Even if it's dumb.

This is an Interesting topic. I go to a lot of car shows. I will take the time to look at any build. I may not like the style, or the build even. But I can appreciate the time, effort and care that goes into someone's vehicle they care about. In the end we're all automotive enthusiasts at the end of the day.

Personally I don't do any "hardcore" offroading, I use my side by side for that. But I have had plenty of fun with all my vehicles in mud, snow and sand even my AWD Chrysler 300C. Rough roads are a way of life in Alaska and I've never come close to bending a wheel, not even my 22s (two sets one with 33" A/T's and one with blizzak snow tires).

For me the Bronco is my 4x4 convertible Mustang. Living in a place that a rwd car should be put away half the year its tough to justify. I'll take it out, get it dirty and it won't make a difference if it has 16s, 17s, or 20s it'll do everything I'll ask it. I don't see why bashing someone's likes helps anyone.

I know I am in the minority here but I plan to run 20-22" wheels and 34" tires on my Badlands. It will probably never see anything more off road than my driveway and the 2-3" of snow we get every few years. That's the look I like so damn it I am getting them.... I know I can't be the only one. For the other outcast like myself...what wheels and tires are you considering?
You may be the only one! Just saying...

Some vehicles look good with 20s but not the Bronco

Alright, but don’t you two come back and say we didn’t try to help....

I thought we wanted people to buy Broncos and not take them off-road so we could have nice examples for the secondary market. I also thought we wanted those sweet Badlands take-offs. This guy’s Bronco could be a off-roader’s treasure someday.

I know this comes as a shock to some of you, but some people are buying the Bronco to cruise around town with doors and top off with zero intention of tackling the Rubicon. Oh and they might have different styling preferences as well.

20's would be fine on a Bronco. As long as the 20" rim has at least a 40" tire wrapped around it.
It's all relative.

Leaning toward these wheels with 295/60 tires. I think the grey wheels will look awesome with the MIC top and grey grill. I found the configurator on tiresize.com very helpful.

Dude, I couldn't give 2 shits what anyone else thinks. I just wanted some people to post some wheel options. I know others are going to be running 20's. Most jeeps in my area are on 20's. I was just hoping for some wheel options from others. Can't find much I like that doesn't have a crazy amount of neg. Offset.
Since you think I'm a troll I guess it would be a bad time to ask for opinions on speaker configurations? Need to squeeze a little bass in somewhere🔊🔊
If these were on Outer Banks.

I have 18" rims on my F150. I wanted 17", but they told me the calipers would get in the way. Oh well.

Stock badlands wheels and upgrade to 35s or even 37s. I'd go 20s on an F-series, but still do 35s.

17's will fit on a F-150, Raptors and lower trims come from the factory with them. I replaced my 18's with Gen 1 Raptor wheels.
