Quick up date, change screw, attachment for wood frame, to a hinged around a screw attachment, super easy on off now.

Nice Solution, But one of my key design goals was to have the top sit naturally on the underside edge as it does when installed on the Bronco. I'm not sure if the top is designed to be supported by the top. Time will tell. I like the winch Idea, I might change my manual hoist to an electric wench in the future,

I used the straps much in the same manner as the jacks do. I do wonder about the weather stripping. As you say time will tell. If you convert be sure and use a hoist as opposed to a winch, the hoist has a brake that will hold whereas a winch does not.
