That is one pretty rig. I wish they still had orange as option. Was the graphic OEM or did you add it? If so, where did you get the graphic?

Thanks! Yeah I love this color too. I had the logo made at a local sign shop that also does vehicle wraps. These shops can make anything you want. I usually install them myself but this was so big and I did not want any bubbles...I had them do it.

I had the soft top previously. So compared to the soft top, unbelievably quieter lol. Solid.

Is it noisier than the hardtop? Yes. But it’s not an environment where you can’t have a conversation, listen to music, make a phone call. With the twill, it’ll hold AC or heat very well. Is not as secure as a hardtop, and that’s the only real drawback.

Had another question; the latches on the side windows, I assume those lock? On the rear door....I see no handle/latch/lock. What handle and lock is on the rear flip up win-door? Thanks again. Beautiful on your Bronco and the wife already is on-board!

The gullwing latches have keyed locks. (if you get the armadillo molles for the interior, the gullwing turn into storage areas. The rear tailgate has no latch or lock. It closes under the tailgate.

More of a warranty question than a hardtop specific one but any advice is appreciated. I have an open claim for a replacement 2-door MIC top, just waiting on it to be delivered to the dealer. In the meantime I’ve exceeded 36k miles. How long should I expect the new top to be warrantied since this is bound to happen again?

Yes I chose the exterior molles on the gullwings and the rear hatch. Those are all optional.

The roof screws don’t bother me at all especially knowing that the top is accessory ready with these for other third party roof racks or whatever the next ingenious idea that armadillo comes up with to utilize them.

Just finished a Gladiator restoration that was in a rollover. The hard top had a couple of spots with fist sized holes in it. And half dozen or so areas that were scraped down to the substrate.

I patched it up with a fiberglass repair kit, sanded the whole thing down and then painted it with roll-on Herculiner bedliner. Sprayed 3 coats of clear coat over the top for some UV protection.

Looks FANTASTIC!!

I will also advocate for the Armadillo Designs top. I am coming out of a soft top, so the biggest change is the noise. Its is waaaay quieter than my soft top. The way its design is very nice. You start to notice the little things........this is quality.

The gullwings can lock. I am using DV8 pocket molle's and the work great. I also have room to put things in that location. I have the slant back version, love it. People say I lost room, but not really, at least for my needs. I did lose the space a drop actict shelf would go, but meh no biggie. I did not buy it when I had the soft top. The Havoc shelf I may pick up.

At anyrate I feel theArmadillo top is the BEST aftermarket top now. Strength, quality, I know this top will last the life of my Bronco. As for the wait, I like others in this thread bought early on. I went through revisions and delays. Now that they have the proccess ironed out, and have highered more people, I think they wait times may be a lot shorter, or closer to what they say the times are.
