2 Door Bronco Loses Big

They really should offer something to the early two door reservation holders. It’s been the biggest screwed up mess of this whole deal and Ford seems to still be ignoring us. If you had duel tops you got the 100,000 points but nothing for completely dropping the ball on the 2Dr.

I will not purchase a 4D Bronco. I just wont do it.

I will not change to a 2.3.

I would take a factory soft top, even though I think the fastback is atrocious, but that is not an option. And don’t get me started in the 4D Softop, that should have been left on the design room floor with a “yeah that’s a no”.

We are well past sanity here. I don’t even know what to think.

Sept 20 2 door vin and build here. I seriously doubt we will see them this year. Hope Im wrong. Ford does NOT do the under promise and over deliver business model. So since them sorta half assed said 2 doors w/ build dates by the end of 21, I dont believe it. Hope Im wrong. And I wouldnt even be on this site if they only offered the 4 doors. Would be a lot less headache though. And for the record, Im also in the give me a soft top crowd. Hell, Ill buy a bestop on my own dime and drop ship it to MAP and be done with it.

Based on the info released 2dr hardtop production should start rolling decently after Nov/Dec cleanup of the FEs and bad batches. So Q1/Q2 should be expected for early reservations if the start producing good tops at volume to support the 500+/day mix. There is just not that many 2dr orders, so I bet they catch up quickly.

In my scenario I've been scheduled but surely will push to late '21 or early'22.

I agree. Once sorted 2 dr will catch up quick considering there isn't that many relative.

I admire you both for your enthusiasm but I can't lure myself into being fooled again by rational thought lmao. I know so many first few hour reservation two door guys who've heard nothing. My dealer still had several two and four door FE reserved that had heard nothing as of yet.

Who would have thought 13 months ago, that if you wanted a two door bronco, that it would absolutely kill your chances at getting a 21' model. All of the design and consulting with known classic bronco gurus for input on how to match classic bronco lines with modern tech and this is where we're at. Such a dang failure Ford. The only reason I'm not walking away is because I'm just too stubborn.

. 100% this. This is horse shit. Four door gets a soft top option, two door has been driving around since October with soft tops, but customers can’t BUY a soft top from Ford OR from Bestop who makes them? WTF Ford??? Why??
